We booked a room and was facing the street for 5 nights. The very first night me and my partner couldnt sleep at all because of the noise from the street (trams are running at 5am till 12pm at night). The hotel wall has soundproof however the doors didnt. The other guests were talking very loud even at 11pm. At 4am the other guests started check out so another noise. (so basically, we heard everything happened at the corridors and stairs). I chatted with the reception to find out a solution. The staff Konrad was very nice, checked us out from the room and checked us in again to the other room (which is facing their backyard) a lot quieter than the one facing towards the street. He said he upgraded us. But I dont think the room has soundproofing facility but anyway, its already better than the first street view room! So I would say a big thank you for Konrad for the kindness and help so that We can have better sleep during the 4 nights stay there in Hotel Lavender It can be very noisy if you are staying the room facing in front of the building, above the tram line. You will hear the trams, people downstairs, traffic etc

The hotel is very easy to reach from the train station and provides convenient access to Kraków’s historic centre. My room was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was lovely and hot. I especially appreciated the water dispenser, where fresh still and sparkling water was available around the clock – such a simple but genuinely useful touch. My room was on the first floor facing the street, and with trams passing frequently, I found it difficult to get a restful night’s sleep. If you are sensitive to noise, I would recommend requesting a room on the quieter side of the hotel.

Nice and clean room. I love that they provided a jar for fresh water. Great location, close to the old town and the central train station. Also, lots of great food options around. Our room overlooked a street with trams, but nevertheless, it was rather quiet and we could get good rest, especially since trams do not operate during the night. Everything was fine.
