Great location, very comfortable room. Facilities are old but comfortable regardless. I've been staying at this hotel since I used to travel with my family and have been a satisfied customer through all iterations of its change in brands. Nothing to dislike in particular, but if I had to nitpick - it's not a new hotel, and I have to give credit that the facilities, while old, are relatively well-maintained.

The hotel is located just a few minutes’ walk from the Bukit Bintang Monorail Station, making it very convenient to travel anywhere in Kuala Lumpur and providing easy access to and from the airport. Jalan Alor and the Petronas Twin Towers are also within walking distance. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet—and, needless to say, the air conditioning worked perfectly. After a long day of sightseeing, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge for the next day. I was also impressed by how warmly one of the security guards at the main entrance greeted me whenever he saw me. This hotel appears to be popular with tour groups, so the reception area can get quite busy at times.

The hotel was old and they didnt change the bed sheet and towels for long time and was veryyyy old ,, they didnt put any coffee or tea in the room ,, they insist us to put deposite and we explain for them that we are not here so long just for 1 day they didnt accept …

ONLY LOCATION VERY CLOSED TO ALL AND LIGHT RAIL 1. Room even at 4.30pm not done and the reply was very bad that they do room until 6pm and i have to wait!! 2. When ask for 2 Wine Glass, they say cannot give!! we have to buy our own, when i complaint then they change their mind. 3.VERY NOISY LOBBY EVERYDAY!!

The room itself was spacious and well-equipped with great amenities, making it easy to relax and enjoy a good night’s sleep. Its central location is a major advantage, with easy access to nearby attractions and train connections, making it ideal for exploring the area. Breakfast was generally enjoyable, offering a wide variety of options. A special mention must go to the housekeeping staff member who cleaned my room most mornings—he was consistently polite, thorough, and respectful, and truly made a positive impression. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. Although the room includes a window, it faces another building, leaving the space quite dark throughout the day. Some members of the reception staff could benefit from a reminder about courtesy and customer service, as interactions were not always as welcoming as expected. The pool area is another drawback, as it does not receive sunlight, which limits its appeal. While breakfast offers variety, much of the food is deep-fried or heavily spiced, which may not suit all guests’ preferences.

Location was excellent, near the metro and monorail stations. Lot of restaurants and shopping malls nearby. Rooms were fairly good, breakfast was above average, Check in time. It took very long to complete the fomalities

car park was expensive and should have paid for that. A hotel like Hotel Royal should have a free parking for its customers. They have charged me 90 MR for 6 days and took 15 MR for every day.
