Sooooo much road noise

The parking is very limited and no free parking if you rent a car The check in time sometimes delayed, need to wait until 3 pm for check in purposes only, and need to check out early at 12 pm which is not fair.

The toilet it's too hard to use , even it's autowash , i hope can standby One hand bidet for emergency use if the auto wash not function

No safe for passport etc

Good location, value for the money to stay. In fact, it is a good property. I have nothing to say on bad thing.

First, the good things about this hotel. Location is perfect. It was at the riverbank, so no need to cross the street to get to the riverbank. Generally, all staff were nice. I would like to thank Miss Cosaverina for making the phone calls for me. The phone in my room did not work so I had to use the phone at the reception and Cosaverina was very helpful. The room (amd the bathroom) was really big and I would like to thank the hotel for giving me a room on the highest floor with great view of the cat statue. Thank you for that. The towels were clean and so was the bed. I loved the pillows. They were so soft. The electric sockets, ceilings and bathroom looked newly renovated. TV had a lot of English channels. Wifi was ok. Shower was great When I checked in, the female receptionist was not making any reaction, as if there was no one in front of her. I had been standing in front of her for several seconds. Since there was no reaction from her, I had to say "hi" to let her know that there was a guest in front of her who had been waiting. When I arrived in the room, the carpet was so dirty, with lots of strands of hair. The carpet looked very old but old is different from being dirty. For the next two days, I had to request that the floor be vacuumed well. Also, the two tables beside the bed and the desk/table were all dirty. I had to clean them all first because using. One bedside table even looked as if cups/glasses were used and it was not wiped. The dirt was very obvious. The towels, though, clean , had loose threads falling off . The hotel should be mindful of this kind of towels. I tried the breakfast once but it was around 915 and the selection was not much anymore. The hotel did not put toothbrush and slippers in the room. Guest had to request it.

Location and familiar and friendly staff The room 1103 continues to have minor maintenance issues which were reported again to management.

Minimal facilities

The location is good, it is near the city centre. Easy to find food nearby. It is on the river bank. The reception area is small, not enough chairs at certain time. Breakfast is continental style, not so interesting compared to the local food. So we didn't opt to eat at the hotel.

The value for money is amazing, less than 30 GBP with a private room with decent size. I would recommend to others if you are on a budget. The location is right at the centre, within walking distance to all points of interest in Kuching city centre. The neighbourhood is safe at night. The room, and the bed overall is comfortable and clean. The room and toilet size is good. My room has no window but this is clearly stated when I booked it so they are open about it. The lighting is decent. The wifi quality is good. The staff is nice. The air-conditioning is great. The noise cancellation could be better as I could clearly hear noises outside at the corridor a lot. The pillows are a bit small and too mushy.
