The location was convenient since its newr to the station.

Very clean and surprisingly comfortable. Staff were kind and helpful. Amazing location right next to the main train station. Big locker that fit all my stuff Everything is like a big room connected so there isn’t really good sound insulation but guests were very considerate so it was ok.

The hotel looks clean at first, but don’t be fooled, this place has absolutely zero soundproofing. You can hear everything from other rooms, people talking, doors slamming, footsteps, and even loud snoring all night. We stayed for two nights and barely slept at all. It honestly felt like we were sharing a room with strangers. The noise was constant and unbearable. What made it worse was the staff’s response. When we complained, they simply said there was nothing they could do and kept insisting it wasn’t their responsibility. No apology, no effort to help, just complete indifference. The hotel is near station, the facility is clean and spacious. Noisy. You cannot sleep due to loud noise of everything. You will wake up irritated. Hope they will improve the facility to lessen the noise.

Very close to the station, clean and quiet. Plenty of bathrooms and sinks. Nice common/seating area. Liked that there was the option for the single room with locker. No ceiling on the rooms so felt a little awkward when making any noise getting into suitcase and putting things away but sleeping area was fairly quiet. Went in the winter and my room was right under the air vent so it was kind of hot but was able to sleep okay.

If you are a light sleeper the noise will keep you awake. The rooms are not soundproofed and not enclosed all the way to the ceiling. Also not allowed to set alarms which is annoying.

The location is very close to Kumamoto station and the streetcars! The cost is very cheap!

It gets too stressful to not make noise that might disturb others!

Close to station, easy to access

At first we were surprised to find that the bunk room we reserved for a few days (family of 8) was not closed off at the ceiling to next room. We had to sign an agreement to whisper and to not eat in our room. We wondered if our 6 kids (ages 7-18) could handle these requirements, but they LOVED the room. They each had their own bunk bed with a privacy curtain, along with a personal locker to put their backpacks. The separate men's/women's bath & shower rooms were very clean. Fresh towels and pjs were provided. The laundry room and common area were also very clean and orderly. All the other people staying followed expectations and were very friendly. We liked that it was located just across the street from Kumamoto Station and a lot of food options.

It can get a bit loud with people shuffling in and out but they do provide earplugs so not so bad, you can sleep through it.

Good location as it is near to kumamoto station. Clean bathrooms and toilets. Toiletries provided. Even pajamas are also provided. Good value for money. There is no noise cancellation so you will hear every small sound. Going in and out will be concerning to you because it will echo around. The laundry machines are not kept clean. But since it is a hostel, i think it is expected.

I chose this hotel because it seemed like a step up from a regular hostel, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectat

Great value, great location, everything was in working condition. The walls of the bunks don't reach up to the ceiling so basically the entire room is one big open space, allowing noises from various sources to ruin your attempts at sleep.

There is no public refrigerator in each room.
