Yumoto Niseko Prince Hotel Hirafutei

Exceeded expectations. The onsen in the room was a GAME CHANGER. If you’re used to western beds, the futon was an adjustment but felt like a slumber party (very fun for girls ski trip!). Staff were always very helpful. Ski in ski out with lockers was huge. Room was nicer and more modern than expected given other comments. Would stay again. Outside is a little run down but the rooms themselves are great!

Very close to ski resorts. Staffs are very welcoming. Rooms are quite old and may be in need of a renovation. Also the sizes are a bit small. Can't really complain because of their friendly price.

Private onsen the best with mt yotei view , so lucky when we first day in niseko with bluebird day ! So far so good

In room onsen: Great view of Mt Yotei. Tad dated but room and facilities were good. Ski-in-ski-out: There was a lit bit of walking from the locker room up stairs to the lobby.

Private inan

Large and comfortable onsen right in the room was absolutely fantastic after a day skiing/snowboarding. The location and direct connection to the ski slopes was very convenient. Paying $600+ per night and having to deal with a shower where you have to keep pressing a switch every 20s or the water stops running is honestly ridiculous. Just embarrassing for the hotel. Very dated rooms and facilities. With these room prices, they could afford some renovations. Basic, bland breakfast with cheapest ingredients.

The hotel was clean and located right next to the ski slopes. The staff provided excellent service and were very helpful. On the day we were leaving, heavy snowfall caused all train services to stop, but they helped arrange a taxi for us to return to Sapporo.

Price point was on the higher end.

Facilities in need of renovation and upgrade. Tired an old. Also motion sensor lights near bathroom can not be turned off and flood the room with light at night waking others up.

Ig was good. Different from American breakfast, obviously, but there were some things that were not expexted. It was good. You just needed to figure it out and adapt. There are things for everyone.

location is superb right next to the family ace lift, location is perfect in the middle of grand hirafu breakfast is very good and ample, Reasonable price for such location in Hirafu. -locker for guest to keep ski is on the third floor that u have to climb, the metal rail from locker to the ski is loosening and people may fall down if not careful -staffs are all confusing and unable to deliver normal Japanese service. I checked in for two days with two different types of room. Upon check in I asked about how to change the room the next day and check in staff told me I don't have to. I repeatedly confirmed that I have two different booking, he said it is ok no need to change room. Next day,all I got is a call knock from housekeeping asking why I dont move my things to the new room. I said I was told no need to change the room, the cleaning lady told me no and all notice I got was a paper put in front of my room saying I have to change the room. Later after talking to three staffs, they asked me to move to new room. This is annoying to me since we are family of four with children, since I thought I do not have to move the other night as the check in staff said so, I spread all my things and now I have to repack everything. Apology was done in a subpar Japanese service. I have N1 Japanese level and I talked with them in Japanese, so language is not the issue, it's the management. -Hotel itself is good, but Hirafu probably not for me, I don't feel like staying in a Japanese hotel.

Excellent customer service, amazing location (can ski in and ski out to the lift once you have your pass), and great amenities like public onsen and ski lockers! Nothing I can think of

Breakfast was a "no go" .Turned up at 915hrs and was told it closes for last order at 930hrs. Everything was cleared and staff refused to help me get anything. Disappointed and left F &B is a zero. In past worked as was cheap and now its expensive due to under supply in the area. This time was ok as just late night arrival at like 1030pm and early morning exit at 945am. Room was old. yet clean and comfortable. Public onsen was grossly dirty..full of too many outsiders. It was a good move for a cheap overnight before moving to a decent hotel the next day. This hotel is too old and tired. If get private onsen for your room, it works ~ otherwise just avoid it. Big plus is that the Gm, whilst heavily overworked is great and very nice + location is "ski in ski" out

Ski in/ski out. Breakfast and dinner buffet are great. Onsen is open to public outside hotel guests and can become busy at the end of the day.
