Miru Kyoto Nishiki

The bathroom had a tub which is used everyday and it was so needed after walking soo much. There was daily cleaning and provided new towels. They provided complimentary water. The room was very dark and I didn’t get a lot of light from the windows. I wish there was a full body mirror as there is only two mirrors - one in the bathroom and a tiny one on the side by the desk.

Great location, A lot to do within walking distance, plenty of shops nearby and restaurants to choose from and it's right down the road from Nishiki Market. Great place to stay. I Will definitely book with Miru Kyoto Nishiki again!

This was my favorite hotel during our whole month in japan. Plenty of room, coffee maker, laundry, friendly staff! I think this location was actually better than staying near kyoto station.there is a small station nearby and the bus line a few blocks away. Easy walk to the river and an excellent grocery store.

The location was ideal for roaming, tucked into a quiet street with Nishiki Market nearby. It's walkable to the train station, Gion, and the Imperial Palace--a solid 30 minutes. Nijo Castle is a little farther. If that doesn't suit you, it was easy to catch a bus or the metro and I used Go for a taxi when needed. The staff was so friendly and they let me check in early. I loved my Japanese style room. Even though near reception, it was quiet at all times. If I'm quibbling, breakfast service besides a croissant in a bag would have been nice, but I didn't feel the lack with so many places to eat in the area, plus a Lawson down the street.

I loved the big rooms, the friendly staff, and the ability to be laundry. So close to nishiki market and so many other things, so very convenient. And the complimentary croissants were a plus! Nothing!

Could occasionally hear noise from people coming in to the building, but only during the day (wasn't a problem while trying to sleep).

The place is perfect. Only drawback for old people is that it's not so close to the bus or subway.

Lovely friendly staff, beautiful and spacious room, and so clean! In a quiet street but close to Nishiki Market. Loved this hotel. I was in a room near reception and it could be a bit noisy until 11pm, usually nothing big just staff members chatting and the noise carried. They did quiet down after that but wasn't easy to get an early night. Its a very small thing but something to go with the complimentary croissants (e.g. butter) would be great :)
