It was one of the best experiences in Kyoto. Hotel is very close to kyoto station, if you haven’t submitted already done online check-in, it would take only 1-2 minutes to get your room keys. Staff were also very friendly, and breakfast had sufficient options for non-Japanese food.

The rooms are spacious! It’s great that each room has its restroom. The staff is super helpful and kind! I loved that the hotel has an artificial public bath. It was nice to soak in after a long day of walking. It was also a huge plus that the hotel is right next to Kyoto Station. I should have stayed longer!

We didn't eat the breakfast because people in our party didn't want to. Everything was good.

Great location; just across from JR Kyoto Station (the Shinkansen side). The onsen, although not a natural hot spring, was a great way to relax after a long day of walking. I've stayed here several times and will be back again. The rooms are small, but the layout makes good use of the available space and works well for a short stay.
-
It was cheap and close to the train station The overwhelming smell of fish at breakfast, the rooms are extremely small with no storage.

The breakfast was disappointing. Items that should have been warm, were cool, like bacon and scrambled eggs.
-
Right in front of the Kyoto Station, so it is very convenient. Most tours meeting point is just around the corner so even better for travelers. Very incredibly kind staff. You have a shopping mall at walking distance with a lot of EXCELLENT restaurants (as well for the ones inside Kyoto Station which is huge). It's very easy to get to places such as Hōkan-ji Temple, Fushimi Nari, and others by train but if you want to walk or see the sunrise at those beautiful places, you're 40 minutes away by walking so it can be a long walk.

Clean, comfortable bed, the room is smaller than expected but it’s really good place to stay so don’t complain, walk only 2 min to station

The location was absolutely perfect. We were just a few short steps away from the train station, which was perfect for day trips. We were very close to the bus that took us to Koyasan probably not more than 100 yards from that. There’s a taxi service just around the corner and the bus that dropped us off there the day we arrived seriously dropped us off right in front of the hotel, we took the tour from Takayama and it literally dropped us off 10 steps from the front door. I couldn’t ask for anything better. We loved the onsen on site and used it every day. The staff was exceptionally kind and pulled out their Google translator immediately for any questions so everything worked communication wise. I love the fact that you could pick your own pillow. They had many supplies in the lobby, if you forgot your toothbrush or face cream or anything you could possibly need was right there. I am telling everyone this is the place to stay in Kyoto, location location, location!! We had an executive twin room, which was quite large by Japan standards it was a double bed and a single bed… and there was definitely enough room for us and our luggage. I loved having a soaking tub in our room. And of course, the Japanese toilets are superior everywhere you go, lol m! All the in all I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay here again, should we be lucky enough to revisit Kyoto.

The breakfast was very inadequate. As someone coming from Europe, I couldn’t find anything to eat.
-
Right across the street from Kyoto Station Staff was very stoic and not very friendly or readily available.
-
All is good except a hidden fee (accommodation fee) although not much but they should have make it clear during the booking process and no complementary water only on the first night
-
Excellent. It’s very close to the train station and there’s a large public bath. I wish there were more sinks in the large public bath, since there were only three. I had to wait about 10 minutes to use a hair dryer.

Location, value, price, staff, comfortable, safe

It was very clean, very close to Kyoto Station and the staff are all so very friendly and accommodating. With 2 people with big luggages in a very small room, it was very tight.
-
Super friendly staff, great location directly across from the train station making easy travel to nearby places. Hotel was super clean, great breakfast too. Rooms are small, but most places in Japan are.
