Location and easier access for everywhere Small room

Room was small. Barely any room to open and unpack our small carry-on size luggage. Breakfast food was cold.

Great value and location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Exceptionally clean.

Big comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Good breakfast. Exceptional staff.

Breakfast not aligned with expectations and not too much choice.

It’s got the public bath, location is great, price is unbeatable During my 4 nights of stay there, there were those same few people staying on the entry of 2nd floor all the time, as sitting on the ground either drinking or just chatting, they were not going to the public bath or doing their laundry or anything just sitting there it’s really, really really disturbing. The hotel has a lot of Russian tenants, which I have no problem with, but if they bring make up and alcohol in to the public bath then I’m not ok? the hotel lack of surveillances on their public amenities, there were those 2 Russian girls taking selfie in the public bath NAKED and when I try to stop them they spoke like no English I had to grab my phone and google translate to them. And they were unhappy(for real?), the staff are great but I feel they either know it’s hard to control those tourists or they just don’t want to waste their time

WE WERE NOT ABLE TO SLEEP WELL DUE TO LOUD NOISE OUTSIDE.

The location is amazing, walking distance from everything but in a quiet street. Bus station right outside the hotel and a seven eleven 1 min walk. The staff were amazing and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable

Loved the cleanliness and modern design of the hotel. Absolutely loved the onsen in this hotel as well. The room was a bit too small. Not big enough for two suitcases to be open at one time.

You can enjoy the spa as an amenity, which is great.

The room was super clean. Although it was tight, it had all we needed. The staff was super friendly The pillows were so flat, I woke up sore every morning.

Great location, close to the subway and about 20-25 minute walk to Kiyomizu dera. The staff was very friendly and attentive! Most of them also spoke English. They had umbrellas and adapters to rent. The lounge area on the first floor was nice and had water/beverages. Second floor also had washer/dryers and a public bath. The room had a faint musky smell to it which was especially noticeable when you first get into the room and getting out of the bathroom. Opening the windows and airing the room out helped a bit. Also found two small bugs and there was a water stain about 100cm long down the wall from the vent. I wiped it with some wet wipes which made it less noticeable but made me realize it was cleanable and they just didn't do that great of a job or that the water from the vent was a constant/recurring problem. The room was also very small for three guests which made it extremely difficult to have luggage out. It's very common for places in Japan to be on the smaller side so just keep that in mind.

Great property and comfortable room. Has a spa separating men and female which was a plus. Afternoon free drinks were a plus. They even give you pyjamas to borrow in lobby. Staff was very helpful. They will not give you the room until check in time even if you arrive a little earlier

This was a typical modern Japanese hotel. The rooms were small, clean and quiet, the location was central. Nothing fancy, but a good value for the price. The view out of the window was a brick wall, the street was a bit noisy and the bed was stiff as sleeping on the floor.

I loved the location! Perfect for what I was wanting to do in Kyoto!! The room was comfy and well cleaned! Only downside is my tattoos didn’t allow me to use the public bath but I cannot argue with tradition and custom Not a negative for me though! Still wonderful!!
