It was quite near the buses and trains. A grocery is also near. I think the toilet has molds.?

Great hotel! Really clean and comfortable rooms and beds. It was well soundproofed and really dark at night. It's centrally located so everything is easily reachable. Kyoto station, metro, bus lines, temples, cafes and restaurants are all within a short walk. The room was spacious and bright. We could store our luggage before check-in which was great. Nothing

There is a lot of humidity into the rooms, they are clean and nice but you have to open your windows

Great location, brand new Nothing

It was in a great location, near lovely cafes and restaurants, as well as bus stops. They had towels and robes easily accessible for guests to take as needed. The staff were kind and helpful! When we arrived, the bedroom smelled like mold and still air. The bed sheets had hair and dust in them from previous guests and looked dirty. We had to request new sheets and remake the bed ourselves. The room looked nothing like the pictures. It was way smaller, no bamboo window, and dirty carpets and floors. The bathroom smelled like urine. Don’t let the pictures fool you.

It is obviously modern, probably new accommodation, but still trying to have traditional feel. Very simple and it has a great location. I didn’t like that it requires another app to download for check in, prior check in. Everything is digital. Most of the time nobody was at the reception and room felt stuffy as you cannot properly open windows and we felt it was a bit humid.

We love the location, 2 minutes walking distance to 7-11, 4 minutes to bus station and 15 minutes walk to the Gion side. Room is spacious enough for us to open our luggage. As we are staying in a 3+1 room, the big bed is actually too small to sleep 2 adults and 1 infant when there is actually more space to fit a slightly bigger double bed.

We booked for a family of 5 and I would have to say that the room was nice but small for us. Two of the beds were futons that required us to set them up in dining area and push the table and chairs to the side which made the whole space feel cramped and difficult to access that fridge/kettle. Also left no breakout space. I would recommend the room if only using a crash pad!

Affordable, decent walkable location, staff helpful, amenities provided Room smelled very musty and stuffy, bed was hard to get in and out of without bunking head, location was about 20 min walk to most places which was doable for us

As other comments have mentioned, the stuffiness/humidity in the room is truly unbearable. The window opens just a crack, but it really doesn't help. The air feels thick and makes it a bit harder to breathe. Improvements definitely need to be made. I personally would stay again only if that issue were fixed.

Great location, very convenient to walk to and from central shopping areas in Shijo and Sanjo without being in the middle of all the bustle. Cool neighborhood, and I liked the hotel's recommendations map. Staff was friendly and helpful, and loved the cool bunk bed set up. Comfortable and spacious! For some reason, even though there was a pole and rings for the curtain, the rooms don't have shower curtains...? So when showering, the water got all over the bathroom. Not a deal breaker, but a little weird and inconvenient.

Reception is not always there. Pretty much self serve.

Great location and clean, simple, and well laid out room. Staff was very helpful when I made a mistake with my booking and needed to stay an extra night.
