We didn't have a dog but still enjoyed fully the hotel experience, the complementary hot dogs were a nice touch. a nice spot in a quieter part of Kyoto the public transportation options are a bit further than other accommodation choices, but it's ok for people that don't mind the extra steps

Very bad small on the lobby floor. It was cleaned only on the third day of my stay.

The staff here were so lovely, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. Even though the hotel is pet-friendly and allows dogs, everything was very clean and there was no unpleasant smell at all. A very nice touch is that soft drinks are available all day, and they also offer free light snacks every evening. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay!

Clean and room size is good. No breakfast.

Super quiet-love the coffee/espresso maker being available and the coffee was great. Oh, and an ice maker there. Nothing. Was really great.

The room was quiet, I didn’t hear other guests through the walls or ceiling/floor. There was plenty of space in the room. The free hot dogs and night were wonderful. The staff was kind and helpful. The WiFi was fast. The shower was luxurious and the water temperature was stable.

The place is very clean and spacious! The rooms are very big and perfect to stay over a few nights. The location is a bit far from the main area.

This hotel is absolutely perfect! Traveling with a dog isn’t exactly the easiest thing worldwide, but they made everything feel normal and effortless. This hotel is the definition of thoughtfulness! From the heartwarming welcome board, to the cozy and smart room dog setup, everything perfectly in place, to a dog lounge that feels like heaven on earth - every single detail said “we care” about dogs. My pomeranian had a great time, met new friends, had play times, lived his best life, and refused to check out. As someone who’s stayed in hotels worldwide, but also across Japan, I can say this with my whole heart: Kyoto is the most pet-friendly city in Japan, and this hotel is the crown jewel of that experience. I wish every country had a hotel like this - one that treats dogs not as guests or pets, but as family. So here’s to the humans behind it all — thank you for every smile, every small kindness, and every thoughtful touch. You made us feel truly at home so I am over the moon. We will come again! ?

It's the little details that surprised me the most! Like the peaceful lobby, the all day long drinks and the afternoon snack and much more!

Exceptional

- shower was amazing - super clean - spacious room - comfy bed and pillow - location is ok - not the worst but also not the best. You would need to walk.

Modern, homey and in quiet neighborhood Compare to hotel Forza Osaka we stayed prior to Kyoto, hotel doggy is slight scare of small items like shower items.

Superb

Best hotel ever!! Beds and pillows were comfortable, no noise, shower was exceptional (one of the best in my life), the free 24 hour coffee was incredible and they even had free hot dogs every night for two hours!!! Location was good too, not to far not to close to main attractions. Close to Nishiki market and Gion by uber. I forgot to mention, the room was huge!!! Similar to a USA hotel room in terms of space. Nothing, everything was perfect!!!

Our room did smell a little like dog, but that's not unexpected at a dog hotel. The freshening spray really helped.

The hotel is well designed, maintained and very quiet. Rooms have enough space to rest with comfort. The morning free coffee was of a very good quality and the staff was nice. All was perfect

Great location, we were traveling without dogs and were surprised how quiet and clean room was. Staff was very friendly and helpful Not far from Shinkansen station 15 min taxi, walking distance from the street market and shogun palace
