M’s Hotel Nijojo Oike

The hotel does not have a bathroom on the first floor for guests to use, and the laundry area is very small.

The location and the price. The shower was situated in a way that was inconvenient to keep spray inside the shower. No breakfast option was available.

Nice area. We found 2 places that we like to eat at. The soba noodle place across the street and in the market area. There is also a takoyaki stand. His soft takoyaki is to die for. Nothing

The hotel was reasonably cheap and allowed you to secure your luggage before check in. The beds and pillows were both very hard. The hotel room itself is very small and was somewhat stained. The shared laundry room was very small and cramped, also sharing the only bottle refill location. The hotel was not especially close nor especially far from transit. This was also not an especially cheap hotel, I’m certain you can find a better value hotel elsewhere.

We couldn’t open the window which was a bit annoying as the shower made the room quite steamy.

Super clean, great condition, comfy beds, had a mini-fridge. Bath tub was nice. Good water pressure and temperature. They seem to have someone at the front desk at all times (we didn't check in the middle of the night). Security seemed pretty good. Check-in process took a little while but not more than at most other hotels. It was a number code entry for both the front door and the room (which we didn't like, but maybe some people like them). And I wish they had a bathroom in the lobby.

The beds were very comfortable. Puffy and soft. The staff was very lazy, which surprised me, 0 enthusiasm especially from one of the staff members at the front desk, she was consistently for our 4 days showing negative attitude, frowns, annoyance gesture - looking strangely at any question, did not try to help with anything even when she saw us having issues with preparing our luggage. The English level was abysmal. The shine of light was a different staff member that called us later to fix the issues that were piled up due to the incompetence of the lazy staff member that I mentioned earlier. She did not even try to open the door when we first came in to the hotel and just abruptly said to use our code and deal with the issues. Very very disappointed from this experience.

Quiet. Housekeeping is done only on the fourth and seventh days of the stay, that is not enough. The bathroom was really small, even if it included all that is required.

Really close to the castle and walkable to the pokemon center and Nishiki market comfortable and firm beds which was just what my back needed. And a great shower and facility staff were super accommodating as well

heated toilet, room size was very nice, lights and outlets by the bed, laundry has both washer and dryer together, water refill station. i also liked that i can fully open my luggage no large mirror, cannot open window for fresh air, still smell smoking even in no smoking area

Good location near to the Nijo castle not far from local markets and a subway station is nearby I really liked the reception team attentive and nice the room was clean and the bed very comfortable I really recommend this hotel

Incredible value for the price! Very close to Nijo castle and a bit of a walk away from the restaurant strip. The rooms were clean, and checking in and out were painless. I wish the laundry room was a bit bigger. There were only 2 machines, which felt very limited for the size of the hotel. There is also another identical location that has the same name on google maps, so navigation took a bit of trial and error

It is not far from a food street with lots of local food. Can't look out the window and have to keep it closed.
