Going Japanese here in Hotel Kado. The place is spacious and neat. It is also accessible to Family Mart and Nearby Restaurants. None
-
Right next to train and bus station. Room was very clean and spacious! Washer and Dryer is a huge plus! Staff was very friendly and helpful! N/A

Near restaurant Nuko for breakfast and lunch. Staff were very helpful Shower - tub was wonderful Kitchen with refrigerator and electric pot was excellent Close to starion Beds were a bit hard and too close together Definitely stay again

The walls are a little thin. We could hear the couple's kids in the room next to us from time to time, but it didn't disturb our sleep
-
Mini mart across the street. Subway access right outside the building. A bit far from shopping and restaurant areas.. but an easy ride on the subway.

Amazing!! No complaints!

The front desk personnel were nice enough but often not at the desk, in a room in the back with the door open when we would come & go. That part felt a bit impersonal. Though the location was good for taking the train or bus to get around, the immediate area wasn't so pretty. Also, as a mostly vegetarian with some food restrictions there weren't many vegan places close by to eat at. We did find a good Indian restaurant west of there (by bus). Regardless, I would absolutely stay here again.

It was a very good location and clean We booked this hotel because we communicated with them regarding a baby crib which they said they can provide. We got there and we were told that they gave the crib to someone else and they only have one crib available. Very disappointing!

Location is perfect. It’s right next to the beautiful park, so we could walk around with our stroller. The room is spacious as well, so our toddler had plenty of place to run around. Washington machine, cooking amenities, big fridge. Honestly, the best hotel!

Hotel Kado is a lovely smaller hotel with an option of larger room for families. Our kids are in their twenties and there was plenty of room for us to sleep, move around, make & eat simple meals, as well as room for suitcases! It was a great experience for them to use the futons on the tatami mat, along with two larger beds for those not as adventurous! :) It is in an excellent location, steps from the subway and almost across the street from the park! An added perk is that it’s across the street from a Family Mart & McDonald’s for quick convenience. Oh, check out the rooftop patio for a great place to sit & escape on property. The surrounding area felt safe and I would definitely return. Nothing

There wasn’t much to do in the area. We had to bus, subway, or cab to most of the sights and things to do.

Our family of six fit very comfortably! It was very relaxing to be able to come back to this room after a day out. Everyone was very friendly too.

The property was in a perfect location just down the road from the imperial palace and in close proximity to attractions we loved our stay here the room was such a good size for a family of 5 Nothing everything was perfect

We booked a premier suite for a family of 2A and 3C. The room was excellent, very spacious, with a well-designed layout. The location was perfect as it was just steps away from a train station. It was also super near to the Imperial Palace which was perfect for a morning stroll. The washing machine & dryer in the room was icing on the cake as we managed to wash our clothes in the comfort of our room. The pillows were too hard especially for my younger kids. I asked the staff if they have other softer ones but nothing was available. Will be good to just have some softer pillows as options.

right next to train station, excellent room (washer/dryer/hinoki tub/spacious/big beds), good value bedding was very hot and ac unit was facing the bed so the temperature control was not ideal, house keeping was not consistent
-
It is conveniently located just a few stops from Kyoto Station. I love the place not only it is clean , has every amenities I needed but also walking distance to their local supermarket! I visit there everyday ! Nothing at all. Absolutely love it!

Had a lot of trouble finding the property. Not sure if it was just the taxi drivers fault but in the end he just let us out anywhere telling us that we had arrived. It seemed that, following the directions given by booking.com, that multiple drivers struggled to find it. Check in was difficult. Think the staff member we encountered was new but we eventually Got in and after that, the staff were very helpful. The room was comfortable and reasonably sized, but the issue was there was nowhere to sit comfortably. The main kitchen/ living area was filled by a 6 seater dining table with no other seating to relax. Definitely need somewhere to relax comfortably after a long day of walking. Also absolutely nowhere to hang anything in the bathroom, not even a towel. Small thing, but pretty annoying!
