Room was a bit small (to be expected), but very clean, and comfortable. Location worked for us-close enough to Kyoto Station (approx. 5-10 mins walk), but far enough to have peace, and quiet. Our room had a perfect view of the Goeido-mon Gate. Will stay here again. Great service from the friendly, and helpful staff! Nothing to complain about

The property was cozy and quiet. The room had an excellent view of the temple, the location was good for shopping and transportation. My family loved exploring the neighborhood and meeting people. Honestly, nothing was bad! My family of four was very comfortable overall.

Perfect location and quite room and nice people. Clean and easy to access from all locations. We booked for 3 but room was only good for two people so it was very tight and did not have room for luggage. Need larger space for 3 people.

The staff, everytime I had an interaction exceeded my expectations. They made me feel like they wanted me to be at Hotel Kuu. The hotel's location was beyond ideal, close to everything, transportation ( trains, buses, taxis),and sights and food. The onsen-wow it was my first experience and it was a pleasure. The roof top view and seats were great. Again I can not say enough how great the staff was in every aspect I had with them. The only thing was that since our room faced west-the sun was hot and it took a little longer for the aircondition to cool the room.

The staff were so nice and helpful. We stayed four nights and loved the quiet, beautiful location. The room was very nice, and the Onsen was a wonderful add with clear information on how to use. The temple right across the street is worth visiting as well! We felt welcome and all was convenient. We would absolutely stay here again if ever back in Kyoto. Thank you so much!

The staff was welcoming and attentive. The breakfast included a wide variety of high quality foods. Easy walk to Kyoto Station. Pajamas were comfortable and stylish.

Absolutely amazing! Super close to Kyoto train station and right across the street from a temple. Easy to get to Gion by foot. Clean and huge rooms. We were a family of five in one room and didn’t feel cramped at all. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay great. We were always greeted with huge smiles. Terrific breakfast also. Would recommend to everyone! Nothing
