The proximity to a subway stop. The breakfast wasn't attractive. I expected more from the price. The staff at the front could be more friendly.

The room and facilities were very clean, and I especially appreciated the laundry machines—they were well-maintained and extremely useful. The location was perfect: just a 2-minute walk to the subway station and about 10 minutes to the center of the Karasuma area. The room was a bit small, which is quite typical for hotels in Japan. If two people are staying with their luggage, they might need to be a bit creative with space management.

The hotel is very close to a metro station that has a good connection to surrounding stations. It's also very close to the main shopping district Nakanocho. The staff was friendly, the room and bathroom were comfortable and clean, and there was even free coffee in the lobby. The only downside was pretty much out of the hotel's hands as there was construction going next door. However, with the window closed, the sounds weren't too bad.

The hotel was clean and in a great location in Kyoto to what we wanted to experience. Right next to subway line also made it convenient. The breakfast buffet is HIGHLY recommended! There is construction next door for the next several months as of June 2025 but it did not impact us.

This hotel was fabulous. Very quiet, comfortable rooms. The breakfast buffet is huge! The location is right beside great shopping areas and a metro station!

The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a normal size. The breakfast was very nice and had lots of choices. The hotel offered a complimentary foot massage machine that we were able to keep in our room for the duration of our stay...AMAZING!!!
