The staff was helpful and kind, The room felt clean, The hotel feels well maintained, The location is great: near Teramachi and Karasuma Oike station The only bad thing is the very unstable wifi. It was so bad that I can’t give this great hotel more than an 8. If the wifi was even just reasonable I would have given them a 10.

The location is great, close to all the stores and restaurants in the downtown core. I found the pillows to be uncomfortable, too hard.

The room is big enough for a solo traveller and the staff were very accommodating and kind. :) The pillows could be softer and more premium

Rave. Dynamite staff. Very helpful, friendly. Location was central. Near the subway cross roads. Good elevators. Room was comparatively large. Nice big window you aren't supposed to open, but can. Again, the young ladies behind the counter were fabulous. Would stay again. Everything was great.

Nothing The hotel is very very old. It’s not what you see from the booking website. The first floor, reception is stink with cigarette smoking. There is no air conditioner, just heater only. The bed is very old and uncomfortable to sleep on. There is only one electrical plug to charge your devices in the room. I have to use the second one in the bathroom.

Breakfast is OK. Cleaning lady comes to work in the hallway at early morning and makes a lot of noise which disturbs my sleep. Overnight, there was water dripping sound throughout the night.

It’s an excellent location very close to transportation hubs. The Kyoto Museum and shopping district are very close by with Walking Distance. The staff is very helpful and professional there are quite a few restaurants within walking distance. There is a small closet and good air conditioning control. The room was a little small by American standards, but it was adequate for one person and as a solo traveler, I thought it was fine. My room was facing the street, which was a little noisy, but earplugs will solve that problem.

Location was excellent and staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a smoking area in the lobby right near the door and across from the desk, so when someone was in there smoking, the lobby smelled like smoke. This was not an air tight area and unfortunately the luggage drop was right by it.

I didn't like that they charged me extra and it wasn't expected cause the booking wasn't mentioned an extra payment.
