The room was gorgeous and huge with an exceptional bathroom. The staff were so friendly and polite. The location was perfect and all round it was wonderful. I only wish their cafe had been open more often! Keep the cafe open more if possible!

It was a beautiful trip! I was especially impressed by the really nice breakfast. It seemed like no effort had been put into anything, including bedding and dishes. This is a highly recommended accommodation. The location was really good and I was satisfied with everything. None.

We loved everything about Malda. The room was enormous, modern, organic and generous. The location is exceptional, quiet but so close to evertything. Small wander to food, markets, boutique shops and the main road is oly a few streets away. Free walking - not much traffic. Absolutley beautiful staff and a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Nothing could have been better, it weas all lovely. We will return.

Absolutely everything, the room was spacious, comfortable and the staff were the friendliest. there was not anything we didn't like! We travelled Japan for three weeks and this was by far the best place we've stayed. Will be coming back, guaranteed!

The room is an amazing space, filled with beautiful furnishings throughout. Located well for access to the stations, sights and restaurants / bars. It was a little noisy at night due to traffic on the street.

the staff, their heartwarming service is beyond anything. my family had a great time in Kyoto cuz the staff Ono San went above and beyond to accommodate us. some switches in the room are not easy to understand. I think the room layout, although quite spacious, is most ideal for two persons.

Beautiful space and amenities. Breakfast was amazing. Although staff interaction is minimal, they were always helpful. Loved the pyjamas provided. Note you can hear street noise. It did not bother me but might bother some people who are sensitive to noise. You could hear cars and trucks and people talking in the street at night.
