The hotel was very clean and the rooms were nice. The breakfast was great too! It was in a fairly good location that was easy to walk to some of the main parts. We did like that it was very close to a subway stop and convenience stores were very close too. The only thing I wish was that it was a little easier to communicate with the staff. I do understand that I'm an American in Japan, but in the other hotels we were able to find staff that spoke English well enough. We struggled in this hotel. Although the staff were very nice it was difficult to arrange what we needed.

The room was spacious compare to the ones in Tokyo for around the same price, staff was also professional. Tried the japanese breakfest and it was good.

Staffs are not as enthusiastic as other hotels perhaps due to amount of guests coming.

The hotel staff were very friendly and check in was a breeze. Our room was decently spacious for a Japanese hotel room which was nice. The bathroom was spacious as well. The room, bathroom, and facilities were also very clean. The hotel is close to a subway station as well as Kyoto National Garden.

Spacious room for Japan standards. Friendly staff. Laundry and amenities were great. Metro and national park close by. 15-30 minutes walking distance to touristy places. Did not feel in the masses of tourists. A bit dated, hard beds, and unable to get the room temperature right without windows opening.

Room was clean and spacious. Plenty of amenities provided, laundry room with microwave and vending machine on every floor. Smoking room on 2nd floor. Good restaurants and konbini within steps of hotel.

The stay was located in a very convenient location not very far from all the attractions and well connected by rail line and bus. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast option was fantastic. A complete value for money stay.

The washing machine is really convenient, and the room itself is very big. You got what you paid for and there’s some store nearby for 24/7 operation so no worries about the night snack or drinks. The metro is right next to the property!

Location is a bit far from major attractions other than the market. Either way, I enjoyed it very much.

No gym and no pool. The breakfast buffet was excellent but the foods menu is the same everyday. I would like some variety since I was there for 4 nights.
