5 Terre Backpackers City

This hostel is a great location for visiting Cinque Terre. Francesco is very helpful and always happy to give recommendations. The room, common area and bathroom were all very nice and were cleaned daily. It was very hot during my stay, and the room's AC was a huge plus! Breakfast was in a cafe next door and exceeded my expectations, and the train station which takes you to the villages of Cinque Terre is a 3 minute walk away. This was my first stay in a hostel travelling solo, and it was a great experience.

Francesco was the best! My bag was delayed, and he helped me communicate with the company. I really appreciated his support.

Very homey and small. It makes people say hi to each other and leads to some great friendships. Francesco will treat you like family No curtains on the bed and charging is a bit slow

I had an amazing experience staying at this hostel! The location is absolutely perfect – just a short walk from La Spezia train station, which makes it super convenient for exploring the stunning Cinque Terre. You can easily commute to all the major spots in no time! The breakfast was also great, with a good variety of options to start your day off right. What really made the stay memorable, though, was the host. They were incredibly informative and genuinely helpful, providing excellent tips and making sure you felt completely at home. It truly felt like a cozy and welcoming environment. Nothing to complain

Francesco was so kind, helpful and made the effort to recommend things to do in the area and also remember everyone’s name. Best hostel I have stayed in! The breakfast was delicious. All other guests were really friendly and everyone talked at night and in the morning about their adventures in the area. Highly recommend!

Francesco was best host I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with - he was very welcoming and helped answer all question I had regarding the stay and things to do in the area. The location was great, 2 minute walk from the train station with restaurants and shop all down the road.

I had an amazing stay 5 Terre Backpackers City. The location is perfect, really close to the train station, super convenient to visit the area. The vibe was really nice with people from all around the world sharing their experiences from cinqueterre trails and giving good recommendations. The breakfast was great, and Francesco and his team were incredibly helpful and kind, making my experience even better. I highly recommend this place for a short stay or a refreshing break, and I can't wait to return!

Loved it. The location is perfect with station and all the eateries just 5 mins away. Francessco is amazing. He also gave suggestions for local places to see. The breakfast at ciao baby was amazing. The staff was also very nice courteous and very polite at ciao baby. The hostel has very nice vibes. The tiny library also has some interesting books and games. Overall good experience. There can be more racks/hooks in the bathroom.
