Great location and view. Run down. Cheap feel. Broken light in bathroom. No elevators. No air conditioning. Poor fans.

The shared bathroom could have been a bit cleaner and it did smell like smoke in the hallways.

room felt unclean, bathroom was moldy, linens also seemed dirty, found some hair under the cover. blanket also had weird stains

Location is perfect, and very comfortable bed. Worst shower I’ve seen, dirty and moldy? Ants everywhere in the room. Very loud staff in the hallway, cleaning in the morning.

It was very close to the station and I could store my baggage before checking for Cinque Terre

the location is perfect , it is just 30 seconds from train station. The room is terrible , also the bathroom. Bidet was not working and really dirty. there are zero facilities there. bidet was not working, there are people that are screaming all night, it is impossible to sleep there.

It was very hot in this hotel room, and it was quite noisy at night with people talking outside your room.

The location of this hostel was excellent—situated just outside the train station, it made getting around the surrounding area extremely easy. It was even convenient enough for me to stop in and use the facilities during a quick transfer wait. The property is also only a few steps from the main attraction center, which made sightseeing simple and stress-free. The strongest selling point of this hotel is its location—it’s perfectly situated and makes exploring the area very easy. That said, there are several areas that could use improvement. If you’re traveling with large luggage, I recommend requesting a room on the first floor, as there is no lift and carrying bags up several flights of stairs can be challenging. I stayed in a one-bedroom on the third floor with its own shower and toilet. The bed was noticeably worn, with a slant where people usually sleep, making it uncomfortable and giving the feeling of sliding to one side. The washroom door was also broken—the screws were loose, so I had to lift it slightly to open or close it. A small fridge in the room would have been a welcome addition, especially in the summer heat, to keep drinks cold. With some updates to the furnishings and basic amenities, this hotel could offer a much more comfortable stay while continuing to capitalize on its excellent location.

I liked the convenience and, effort of the staff to help and keep the place clean. It was a basic, no-frills place which was all I needed.

No air conditioner. Very loud. Old furniture. I thought the shutters was going to fall off the window if I opened it. Staff tried to upsell me into a room with a private bath. No elevator, and I was placed on the 4th floor with multiple heavy bags. I would never stay there again.

The staff was really nice and supportive (they have a telephone and online message 24h to help you), and everything was really clean. The hot water in the shower was perfect, and the bathroom was really clean. Amazingly close to the train station (2min) and the center of La Spezia town where the restaurant and shops are (5min), also near different coffee places, a focaccia place and a local shop (less than a minute). The views on the 5th floor balcony are so cool. The bed and pillow were uncomfortable and the first night I didn't have a heater and it was cold (but they fixed that the moment I said it), the shower head from the room needs a change (also the pressure of the water in the shower was a bit weak). I brought a nice dessert from my trip to Cinque terre and I had some biscuits in my bag, and when I woke up in the morning, some ants were on them... And it's a hotel with 5 floors and no elevator, it's okay but I didn't know and it may be a little annoying or not good for some people.

Super close to the main La Spezia train station. Property is literally across the road, down the steps from station. Location cannot get any better. Property also very close to amenities and shops and restaurants only a few minutes away. Nice breakfast restaurant right next door to location. Nice friendly staff. Property has no lift and climbing so many stairs with luggage might be challenging for some people. I stayed on the 3rd floor. Bathroom shower door didn't close and needed repair however I managed to shower ok without splashing any water outside. Bathroom could have been scrubbed a bit cleaner. Some surfaces felt a bit old and unclean. Property is generally rather old and decor old too. However the price is cheap.

I actually liked the hotel a lot, I really liked the bed and the room! Had a balcony which is such a +! Nice view and a chill room to myself! The staff was very polite and the location of the hotel is great, especially if you’re visiting Cinque Terra by train!
