Great sized property for family stay. Pool is good for children to have a dip after a long day out and about. We loved the Lamai night market which was in walking distance (same for the beach). Easy to get transport via apps to other parts of the island. Wide window doors make privacy difficult, so you end up shutting curtains more than you would like. Beware of incredibly small ants - we had a closed tube of honey on the kitchen counter that got swarmed by them (house lizard appreciated the feast!). Ended up storing any food/ drink in the fridge/ microwave!

An oasis close to everything. The pool refreshing, the grounds beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere friendly.

Royal Cottage Residence has great amenities and is set up for longer term stays so it was also great for our shorter term stay. We particularly appreciated the fridge, cutlery, plates and microwave. The bathroom is spacious and so well done and everyone we encountered were friendly. The best part is the proximity to the night market and a great area for walking and exploring at night while feeling tucked away in the corner.

Spacious apartment. Well.situated. Quiet road. Nice swimming pool. The wooden mezzanine floor creaked very loudly. It needs repair / reinforcement.

Very nice stay, all around shops and restaurants, lamai beach walking distance. Nice accomodation with wifi, airco, swimming pool. Everything is clean and the staff is very kind.

Lovely little property just a quick 5 min walk from the Lamai Night Market and the beach! The 2-br apartment had all the amenities our family needed for our trip. Please note the cute geckos come out at night but pose no harm.

Perfect location for Lamai beach, beautiful residence, incredibly friendly staff- Thai hospitality at its finest!!! Had a wonderful stay with 3 friends, will be recommending to all my friends travelling to Koh samui!! NOTHING!!

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the manageress spoke very good English. The rooms are huge, we had a poolside room with patio and it was perfect, the hotel gets the sun from first thing in the morning until about 4 in the afternoon, ideal for relaxing. The hotel is a short walk to a number of bars and restaurants and the night market, and about 15 minutes walk to the beach and the main strip. It is a peaceful area away from the noise of traffic and bars. One very minor comment, we included breakfast in our stay but it was delivered from a coffee shop and a limited list of bread, eggs and coffee. The quality of the food was fine, but no Thai option. If I stay again I wouldn't include the breakfast.

Lovely location and helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay here. Bed was a sofa bed & Netflix didn’t work on tv- no biggie though as we were only here for a couple of days.
