B&B Le Caruse

The location was perfect! It didn’t seem so from the booking listing, so I would encourage the owners to highlight just how close to everything : right at the Porto into the old town, around the corner from the gardens and castello, easy walk to train station, same block as grocery and fruit market! Lovely Pinty Cafe across the street! Basics all covered: AC, wifi, coffee maker, fridge, huge absorbent towels, hot water , bidet !(I don’t use but important to some.) Owner Francesco goes above and beyond to meet us and explain everything. Says he doesn’t speak English, but he did well! My daughter could reach a little in her limited Italian, but we understood it all. Fiammetta just a text away for questions, even checked in to see how we were! We loved loved loved Lecce and our b and b! We had nothing to complain about.

The property itself. A nice, spacious bedroom and bathroom, with a lovely terrace overlooking Porta San Biagio. I must say, the garage underground was convenient. Parking otherwise would have been a challenge! I have to add that the proprietors were the kindest, most thoughtful people. There is nothing I didn’t like about the property.

Location excellent, no breakfast was included. Place was spotless! Francesco and Fiammetta were very helpful and kind . Great restaurants and gourmet food.

Location It is an apartment divided into several independent rooms. Even though we cannot complain we still didn’t feel the full privacy

Was spotless. Hosts were very kind and responsive. The terrace had an amazing view. An easy walk from the train station.

This was an EXCEPTIONAL place! Our room was spacious, comfortable, and super clean. Biggest shower I encountered in Italy! ? It was so nice to have the balcony that looked across to one of the old city gates. You can basically cross the street and be in the old town. A lovely cafe with delicious pastries, perfect for a morning cappuccino, and a wonderful gelateria are just outside that gate, and we enjoyed those more than once during our stay. The building felt very safe and secure, and the hosts were so kind and helpful. The walk to & from the train station wasn't at all difficult. I would recommend this lovely place to anyone visiting Lecce! All was great!

The host is very nice. She urgently helped me book the taxi when I was in a hurry and couldn't call by myself. The property is in good location.

The location was fantastic. There was a wonderful view of the piazza and on my last night there were people dancing to some great music which I could watch from my balcony. The number of restaurants, bars and shops in the area is huge. There's no problem finding places to enjoy the culture. As far as the property itself goes, the room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and quiet. This was a great location just outside the old town entrance. The bedroom was adequate for 2 people. It was in a quiet area and close to restaurants. The hosts were charming and most helpful with their suggestions for restaurants and places to see. Parking is offered $ under the building. The building is like an apartment building. Great value. We took day-trips to surrounding areas in Puglia and this was a good base. Parking was tight but adequate. The photos show the lovely dining area but there was no breakfast at the time. A superb place right across the street was perfect.

This is a wonderful property. The owner is very nice and will constantly communicate with you about recommendations, needs, etc. Practically in the middle of everything but quiet and perfect to rest. We loved it! Nothing. Highly recommend!!

Extremely kind hosts, clean room and excellent position!

Superb

First the location. Wow! A view the Porta San Biagio from the window. Right at the entrance of the old town. The host Fiammetta was very friendly and accommodating and gave excellent recommendations for local places to eat.

The manager communicates via What's App but is very helpful and kind.

Nothing really, a couple of hooks for towels would be useful. We needed to carry 6 keys with us to access, building, elevator, apartment, room, etc. But we felt safe?!

Highly suggested. Great place and excellent value for the price and exactly as shown in the photos. Clean and a nice neighborhood. Check-in and out smoothly, easy to communicate... Perfect place to stay and looking forward to stay there again.
