The property originated as an inn and was built in the late 1700s by Isreal Dewey a selectman schoolmaster and farmer. As time brought growth and change to Lenox the inn passed through many hands of influential local figures. The Lenox Collection upholds this tradition of hospitality by welcoming guests to the picturesque Berkshires through stays at our three properties.
