Room smelled must but was orderly. I found 2 bugs in the bathroom. The water pressure was decent in the shower but did not get very hot. Warm enough though. The breakfast did not taste very good but it was free. Free parking which was nice and a very pretty lake/ look out areas behind the inn with Adirondack chairs. Did the job for 1 night but not $300 worth which is what the charge was

the room smelled like marijuana and cigarettes at initial arrival. I was in the 2nd bldg. and not able to get fresh coffee in the morning. overall, our stay was well worth it.
-
Funny smell when we first got there but I opened windows and it was better.

Very good

Breakfast was good ! Had an indoor and outdoor pool I paid for a queen bed but the bed seemed like a full bed. Judging by my bed at home.

Everything was clean and well maintained. Very good included breakfast, close to Tanglewood, the Manor, the Norman Rockwell Museum, Lenox and Stockbridge.

We stayed the weekend for a show at Tanglewood. We had a very nice king room that was clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety and the food was tasty. Location was convenient. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Modest, but well within the expectations, clean rooms, friendly staff Both rooms had a persistent smell of slate water. We didn’t complain as we came in late and were leaving early

Overall, it was a great place to stay. The staff were more than welcoming and made you feel like home. The AC unit in our room has a constant noise to it. Ended up being like white noise, but it took a short bit to get to sleep.

Free Breakfasts were excellent, but the room was tired, bathroom and shower very small

What a wonderful stay! It was an impromptu overnight to the Berkshires and I’m so glad we chose to stay here. Our room was beautiful and clean, with a lovely view of the pond area out back from the balcony. Great bathroom and shower, very clean. Breakfast was yummy with a nice selection. The pools and hot tub were the BEST part. I absolutely will be back because one night was certainly not enough.

Location, bed comfort, breakfast

Noisy and no elevator We booked queen rooms through Expedia bit did not specifically select the Annex. We found out at check in that we were lodged in the 2nd floor of the Annex on the main highway and there was no elevator and no one to carry bags upstairs. We were told that because we booked on Expedia that they only would place us in the Annex (basically a motel).

We were looking for a clean comfortable room at a reasonable price, so we could spend our money on other things. The yankee inn fit the bill! Some of the fixtures looked tied and dated.
-
No elevators to the second floor. Breakfast was terrible. Staff was good. The ice machine was only in the main building no satellite machines. Furniture needs upgrades. Air conditioning needs upgrades.
-
The location. I was going to Tanglewood with family. The room was small and dated. The bathroom was small and dated. There were not enough towels for the number of guests. There were problems with my reservation. It was an unsatisfactory experience.
-
The stay was very good however the rooms are dated though well maintained. I felt the price was very high for the accommodations. I had expected more for the price ($350) but it was their peak season and they need to price accordingly. Certainly this Inn did not offer the feel or quality level of even a Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn. That being said it was very clean, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.

This was a $120 room- priced at 5X the amount. Inexcusable price gouging Everything. Utterly uncomfortable. Booked a king. Got 2 doubles. Website in no way matched reality.

The location is awesome for our purposes. We have stayed there many times. The last time wasn't quite as good as usual. It was a busy weekend with local events so the price was much higher than usual. We usually get a room close to the main entrance, but the last time we were put in another building entirely with loud neighbors on both sides blasting music into the early morning hours and then an equally loud television. We always use the pool and hot tub, but the last time, there was a large family in the pool area taking up all of the facilities and videotaping everything they were doing with their phones. We tried to stay out of the picture and asked them to not film, but then they yelled profanities at us and started filming us directly. We took a break from staying there but will try again once the obnoxious entitled Summer crowds leave.

Room 412 was newer and comfortable At first we were put in the old building in Room 217 and it was dated and grungy.
