The location was great. Easy access to hop-on hop-off bus starting point. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was warm upon check-in, and they did everything they could to help accommodate us. The corner room was larger and had extra windows, allowing more light in the room and more expansive views. Breakfast offered a variety of options with fresh breads and hot and cold options.

The hotel staff is very attentive, towels are changed daily if you opt for it and the bed is made daily. There were no windows to open for ventilation and the breakfast menu was quite limited. The variety of dishes at the restaurant was limited too.

We are members of the hotel group, but sometimes book through Booking. The location was very good. The staff who checked us in were very friendly and upgraded us. There is a secure paid parking for €15. A member of staff opens the garage, then secures it once we go to the hotel to check in, so we liked that. The room was clean, plenty of space, good water pressure and instant hot water, plus the bonus of a toilet spray (bidet). There was a kettle with assorted teas and instant coffees. There is a card in the room indicating who cleaned and prepared the room for us, which was a nice touch. We left some Christmas chocolates on top of it for Deise. Breakfast was good. Some Portuguese sausages would have been lovely. We'll be back in January. The garage is not connected to the hotel. You have to walk with your luggage to get to the hotel, which is not far at all, but just something to keep in mind. We are not big people, but we thought the double bed was a bit small, but it was comfortable. The price of the Port wine was expensive for just a couple of sips in a very tiny glass.

One elevator was out of order. The other one was barely enough for the hotel .

Well located, friendly staff and great breakfast. No parking spot guaranteed, not very well sound proofed hear noises in rooms next door. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable, so beware if you are going to book a room with a sofa bed.
