Bairro Alto, one of Lisbon's most hip nightlife spots is within a 3-minute walk. At a 15-minute walk is Commerce Square and the well-known Augusta Street Arch, both next to the riverside. Lisbon's Humberto Delgado International Airport is 5.8 mi from the Verride Palácio Santa Catarina. Airport shuttle services are available, upon previous request. If you are arriving by car, please note that access to our historic neighborhood is restricted. However, hotel guests are allowed in the neighborhood. I’ve traveled a lot and I believe Verride was at least on my top 3 hotels in life. The room is absolutely amazing, wide space, with great assortment of pillows and very comfortable bed. The breakfast is unbelievable, with a unique concept of 5 step menu chosen by the chef everyday. Staff is really kind and helpful at all times. The location and hotel facilities in general were great but it is hard to want to leave your room. I missed a gym, but I have been told they have plans to build one in the future. The shower box does not contain the water properly so it splashed to the bathroom but it’s promptly cleaned by staff everyday.

Beautiful property staff was wonderful The air conditioning was either broken or it was not turned on yet for the season. Our room was incredibly warm. The staff was very nice and brought us a fan. But they really should have comped us wine or discounted the room. Our they should post in their description that air conditioning only is available in certain months. We went in March and in Lisbon you can have warm days. I also came by car and it was incredibly difficult to find the street. They really need better direction on how to find the hotel. However the staff was incredibly nice. Breakfast was good but it was a tasting menu and you need to plan for it … it could take an hour. Otherwise nicely decorated and they had a steam shower that was nice

The hotel is located in an old palace which has been renovated and repurposed accordingly. The room was impeccable and the views from the rooftop bar are spectacular. I wish it was a bit more affordable, but the service, room size and comfort and the views were worth the expense.

Breakfast was good, but you need to plan for at least an hour to enjoy all of it. The staff was accommodating if we just needed some quick eggs/coffee in the morning. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar was great and the bartender we had the first night was awesome. The beds were also very comfortable. The location is a bit of a challenge. The property is located in a zone that does not allow you to be easily dropped off in front of the hotel and depending on which side your cab or uber drops you off it can be a steep uphill walk. They do have a way for the front desk to lower the barrier, but the communication barrier with our drivers made it difficult to execute. It would be great if guests could just get a clicker to use. The surrounding neighborhood at night seemed a little suspect.

The hotel is a beautiful historical building located in the heart of the city, with stunning views over the Tejo River. Our suite was very comfy and the staff was very nice. We liked all the small attentions that made our feel welcome. The breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed the small pool area. The bathroom was cozy but the bathtub space could be a bit bigger. Maybe it would be better to skip the bathtub altogether and install a spacious shower. But that's entirely our personal preference, not the hotel's fault.

beautiful, elegant, luxurious with wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant breakfast. the bars and (fabulous) restaurant are closed on Mondays BUT you can be served "room service" in their elegant drawing room. Shower sprays water all over the bathroom.!

Incredibly beautiful hotel with stunning views and elegant luxurious finishes. The front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Thanks especially to Joao for all of his help. Occasionally the food and beverage service could be slow. The rooftop cocktails were disappointing.

Absolutely everything! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional and very convenient that it finished at midday. The staff were superb and the food available at the rooftop bar and restaurant was excellent, the daily complimentary cake was a very nice touch. There was nothing we didn't like.

Very nice location (atop of the hill overviewing the river and the city), incredibly goood hospitality of the staff! and the stylish room. Restaurant was quite impressive with unique sets. All in all everything was good. Nothing negative.
