Exe Lev

We had a very pleasant stay at Exe Lev. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and in a convenient location for exploring Ljubljana. While the room was a bit on the small side, it was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. One of the highlights was the breakfast. There was a great selection of fresh and delicious options, with something for everyone. It was the perfect way to start each day. Overall, Exe Lev is a great choice for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with an excellent breakfast. We would happily stay here again. The AC didn't work too well. We were there during the heat wave.

Really liked that parking was available. The staff were extremely friendly. The bathroom is a little outdated.

We were extremely impressed with the reception staff. Especially Matic, who helped us with such patience. The first room we were given didn't have space for me to work. When I asked for a room with a desk, Matic took time to explore what they had, and he showed us the room to see if we'd like to switch. Then he found an extra chair for us and helped us with the room safe when we messed up trying to set it up! We deeply appreciate Matic's patience and help. The entire reception team has been wonderful every time we approached anyone for help. Thank you all for making our stay such a pleasant one! Location is very good, about 10 to 15 mins walk to the center, depending on how fast you walk and where in the center you go. We walked to the funicular to the castle and it was a really interesting walk with lots to see in the center on the way there. Breakfast was good, had all the hot and cold choices, the usual. We would stay here again if we came back to Ljubljana. Nothing

I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this hotel. The central location is very convenient, the breakfast buffet was of a very high standard, and the team provided consistently warm and professional service. I would not hesitate to recommend it to fellow travelers Minor upgrades would have a major impact. The air conditioning needs modernization. The bathroom is attractive but requires attention, especially the shower and bathtub, which present accessibility issues

Location was fine. Size of bedroom was fine. AC was broken and my room was at at least 25 C for 24 hours despite the thermostat saying 18 C. They knew about this but sent two AC technicians who said it was fine before I insisted that it was broken and they finally admitted it was. Wasted an entire day getting technician to come in, checking out early, reserving a new hotel last minute, and moving. Missed a tour and market before things closed in town for the weekend. Was extremely stressful for what I thought would be a relaxing first day in Ljubjlana and I did not get any sleep because of how hot it was. In the end of June with a heatwave. They didn’t even have a fan to loan to hep with the night. And although they allowed early checkout for the uninhabitable space, when I asked for full refund for the night they refused and only gave 20%. Also reviews said breakfast would have live omelette station and there was absolutely no omelette station. Selection including of fruits and veggies, was below expectations.

Staff was nice, breakfast over weekend was very busy till about 8:30 due to tour groups though food was very good and varied. Sometimes elevators could be slow but there were three. Room was fine-great shower. Staff ordered cab for me and helped me with luggage-very helpful. My room walls, 512, had lots of scuff marks or breaks in the plaster and my garbage was not taken out.

Bedroom was a bit small. Would have loved a better coffee fro the breakfast.

Location is probably the best about this hotel, it is close to main city streets. Breakfast was good, variety is not high but the quality of the food is good. Stuff is up to the standards, no issues. Parking is small and a bit expensive but it is good to have option to park in hotel parking comparing to public garages/parking lots. We booked "Classic Double or Twin Room" which should be 23m2 but it looked and felt it is smaller in size than 23m2. The bed took most of the space in the room.

Location is perfect, 5 min from the main city square and close to everything. The breakfast was fantastic, most likely the best I had in any hotel in Europe.

Staff makes the hotel. They are all friendly kind helpful. No AC because of HVAC system was not turned over for the season. Still in heat mode.

Everything was great and as expected. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was neat and clean, nice view from the 12th floor. Breakfast with an excellent selection of savory and sweet dishes, something for everyone. Great location, a few minutes walk to the city center and Tivoli Park. Public parking garage 3 minutes from the hotel at an affordable price.

The breakfast is good. However the windows which are the best thing in this room were dirty very dirty. There was bird droppings all over them. The ceiling was The gym has no water, no towels, the machines are worn out and poorly maintained. The wall on the ceiling above the TV is moldy, as if there was a flood from the floor above, and it looks terrible. The entrance from the garage is very confusing You first pass by casino then you go to hotel. Hallways on the way to the reception are messy, dirty..
