Breakfast was much more than adequate . Location was perfect for what I neede Can’t think of anything

Quiet and walking distance to bigger spots. Victorian style. For the price, it does what you need. A place to rest and recover for the day ahead. Although the building is dated, which is fine and part of the appeal, it could upgrade a bit on the inside for quality of life.

I like the location and I've stayed in those hotels for years. It was ungodly hot, even with a ceiling fan. A regular desktop fan would have helped. And there was an awful rhythmic electronic buzzing all night so loud I had to use earplugs. Also the light switches give off so8ch light that they really need some kind of shade of cover. Finally, no one ever attempted to refresh my room. Not once. So I had one used teacup, an overflowing trash bin, etc. This was a 3 night stay and on the first day I left late, but on the 2nd day I left early and expected to find my room at least attended to briefly. It was not.

Breakfast was fine - could be better

The owner was very professional and personable. The facility was clean. I have stayed at several B&Bs/hotels. I choose B&B's/hotels because breakfast is provided. Unfortunately, the breakfast food options offered at this hotel were of very low quality. Additionally, continental food options ran out and were not replenished because there was no food remaining. One morning, there was a line outside the dining area because guests were waiting for open tables. We waited 15 - 20 minutes before a table opened.

No shutters, sunlight straight in. Sorry but I really needed to sleep in and it was impossible. No celiac breakfast options.

I often stay at this hotel, great location and friendly, welcoming staff No issues to report

The breakfast, particularly the fruit, was very nice for a continental breakfast. The coffee was also good. Inside was quiet. The room was ridiculously small and impossible for two people. Outside was noisy
-
Great location for walking to the British Museum and West End shows.

Checkin misinformation on breakfast times. Also didn't pee book breakfast. Lacklustre attitude from staff plus communication issues. Sad really because the place deserves better.

The room is rather small (but that can be seen on the pictures and read in the reviews). However, the beds are small for 2 persons and hard, the sheets very thin (especially in winter times, we were cold at night but when we asked for an extra blanket we were told there are none and that we can turn up the heat instead). Light above the bed didn’t work, they didn’t bother to fix it, reaction simply was “oh, yes, that one doesn’t work”. There were two sockets next to the beds, of which one didn’t work either. They were going to have it fixed, but at the end of our stay (we spent 4 nights here), nothing had been fixed. In the shower there is no way of fixing the smaller sprinkler, so you have to hold it while using it. Neighborhood is quiet, but when traffic is passing, it sounds like they’re passing right next to you (very loud, windows aren’t very isolated). Overall, it made us feel the place is going to be worn out as much as possible without any maintenance done. If it weren’t for the good location, we wouldn’t recommend this place.

A friendly clean hotel in a perfect location for the West End. The TV in room 12 needs a better reception. Most programmes were jumpy and stopping.

The window was not soundproof at all. Luckily, it's a quiet location, but if you are sensitive to noises like birds in the morning, be aware it may wake you up.

The property is in a great spot—easy to find and very close to the metro and main station, making it super convenient to get around London. Several museums are within walking distance, which was a big plus. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and everything exceeded expectations. Highly recommended! Nothing

The room was clean and the beds were decently comfy. The bathroom was also relatively modern and clean, but the shower did not drain well and the mirror light and fan did not work. Several of the outlets in the room didn’t work and the space was much smaller than the photos portrayed. Staff was very nice and the location was great! Broken and unusable amenities, tiny space

rooms are very small and noises from other room are clearly heard. hot water comes and goes in the morning, depending on who else is showering i guess. i switched a room with a friend, since my initial mattress was ultra low quality i and couldnt sleep at night.

Very central location - great food variety at the breakfast Buffett - very friendly staff Rooms without AC - during Aug summer heat unbearable - with open room windows we could hear loud motorbikes at night - no elevator - difficult to bring our heavy bags up and down the stairs
