Assembly Leicester Square

I really expected more of this hotel. I should have read the facilities list better when booking because after a fourteen hour flight I was looking forward to watching a little TV.....but there wasn't a TV. So I just slept. I am usually just passing through London so I stay at one of many Z Hotels. For $6 more I could have had a nicer room near Piccadilly Street at the Z Hotel Piccadilly. The floor squeak so badly that I was afraid to wake up the guests below me.

The place looked nothing like the photos. Air conditioning also didn't work in the room. They had one room left and offered for us to move. But both rooms were just a tiny box with no place to sit or to open our luggage.

Room is very small, the price is expensive. Ok

The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring central London. The room was clean, and the check-in process was smooth. The air conditioning in my room was not working throughout my stay (6–8 July). I reported the issue to the reception more than three times, and maintenance was called repeatedly, but the problem was never resolved. It was extremely uncomfortable to sleep, especially during the warm weather. I expected a much higher standard of service, and I was disappointed that no effective solution or alternative room was offered despite my repeated complaints.

Smells like garbage.

The location was amazing. Walking distance to restaurants and the theatre . The staff were knowledgeable and helpful The room was very small.

The front desk lady who checked us in was incredibly rude and completely unwelcome. We even overheard her gossiping with a British man right in front of us, complaining about 'Americans being here.' It was completely unprofessional, and the staff made it very obvious that they have a negative attitude toward American tourists.

It was clean and close to the location I was visiting. Also, located in the heart of everything. There was food and theaters very close by. The room was incredibly small. It had no window, no television, no table for eating or doing work, no refrigerator, and no ice machine. There were steps upon entering the property, which made it difficult to enter with a large bag. I also had an issue with the electricity when I tried to use the hair dryer, and it caused the power to go out. There was no way to call for assistance, so by the time I reached the front desk, the staff was accommodating, but it was still very inconvenient to have to get dressed with wet hair dripping everywhere just to request help. The bed was extremely low, almost to the floor, which made it uncomfortable even to sit on. There was a pink bunny stool, but it was not comfortable. The air conditioning kept turning on and off, which made the already small room feel even smaller and hotter and disrupted my sleep. Lastly, housekeeping did not come daily. During my stay from Monday through Saturday, housekeeping came only once.

Clean, friendly staff, amazing location

The location is great. So close to a few train stations and to Trafalgar Square. The room was no frills but clean and basic. With the exception of one front desk staff member named Gary (he seemed maybe new) none of The staff were friendly or engaging. They should be greeting guests when they arrive and leave. But most times they were busy talking to each other about work and didn’t make eye contact. Gary on the other hand was friendly and greeted guests but we only encountered him as we checked out. I wish we would have had a tea kettle. And while the room has great noise cancelling from the outside, There also appeared to have a water line that ran through mirror and was incredibly loud. It Sounded like someone was in the shower upstairs all night long. It was strange. Second floor.

lack of communication, NO AC IN THE ROOMS, had to be moved 3 times

Great location right next to Leicester Square and walking distance to a number of tube stations. Comfortable bed and good soundproofing. Good airconditioning. Was able to store luggage after checkout for £15. We were only provided with one towel (two people on reservation) so had to request another. Room was small but you know this when booking.

Great location Ridiculously high charge to store luggage (15 pounds!) Expensive rooftop bar overcharged us for our drinks (not the price from the menu) and automatically added a very expensive service charge.

Unbeatable location and farely priced. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. I came to see the play at the Wyndham's theatre. Very convenient that the hotel is literally in front of the theatre. The rooftop restaurant/bar offers an amazing view and really worth at least one visit. Room and especially bed feels a little small. Could also use a little more shelf space in the shower(there's no where to put face cleanser or soap). Think I should've booked earlier for a more spacy room. Other than that, everything is good.

The breakfast was not worth the price, although the views were gorgeous. There was nothing else available, and the rooms were extremely small and there is no furniture. Why do you have the plastic bunny rabbit in the room when there should be some furniture to store clothing. Also the sinks bathroom with the smallest sink I’ve seen in my life. Room two small have furniture instead of a giant plastic bunny rabbit have a larger sink. Have a better designed bathroom

The location is truly central, with major landmarks within a maximum 20-minute walk. The underground station is right next door. Daily housekeeping is provided, and the overall cleanliness of the facility is standart. We stayed as a couple. While we were aware that the rooms would be small, we didn't expect them to be this stuffy. There is a serious ventilation issue; we spent four nights there with almost no fresh air circulation. The toilet was literally one step away from the bed. Aside from its location, I can't say it had any comfortable features.
