This was my first time in a hostel in London and it was great. I really liked that it was mainly students and people on their 20s in holiday/ studies trips. I book a room in "the quite building" which was across the street, so its fabulous they give this option.

Kind of good Kind of good

The laundry situation is extremely limited and I wasn't able to wash anything. Some WD40 on the luggage cages would go a long way with noise! I was totally okay with the top of a triple bunk bed, but some people might find that a little intense (or too hot in the summer), but I believe you can request a bottom bunk when booking.

But the location is great, so for that price, I could deal wit it. I added a star just because the three different staff to whom I voiced a concern were always cheerful, understanding and accommodating. I was prepared for “You get what you pay for”, so I wasn’t expecting the Hilton—especially since I had stayed in about 10-12 hostels across Europe the past month. But there were just too many imperfections that this hostel doesn’t merit a top rating. Hopefully you don’t do something wrong and get banished to the dungeons two blocks away what management refers to as “The Annex”. Too many cold showers or super low water pressure. Doors that didn’t actually lock and that were never repaired three days later after I pointed that out to staff. Just don’t expect a perfect stay. I doubt the Hilton would even be perfect.

Disorganized and slow staff, really bad nickel and diming as a business model, still somewhat pricey for what you get..

The Hostel looks like a prison. The pool to wash your hands and teeth, extremely small. The hands barely fit. I had very bad experiences with other guests, but that goes beyond the Hostel. I don't recommend it.

The shower room was in main building. I've walked to previous outside building to get shower in morning

Unbeatable price/quality. For a cheap price you get a very decent place to sleep at the heart of London. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. I was pretty satisfied with the breakfast too, given how expensive it is to eat out in the city. Staff were polite and friendly. I would definitely return here if I was looking for hostel stays again in London. No complaints really. For the price I paid, it was as good as I could expect.

The separated rooms from the main address

The staff were very nice and friendly.
-
No bathroom in the room. Bathrooms were small. Didn’t provide towel

Location was great, staff were very kind, they had social events every night if you wanted to partake, and kitchen was stocked with oil and salt/tea/coffee/milk. Areas of improvement would be: 1. To wipe down toilet seats every night around 10pm 2. Either provide two old pillows per guest or replace the pillows because they were so flat 3. Coat hooks in the kitchen would've been really nice! 4. There is a fee for storing a bag anytime after check-out (even if it's 30 minutes)

Beds where comfortable and clean and included cage storage underneath. Reception was helpful and i believe is 24/hours which is great. Bathroom/showers could have been cleaner but Ben so not bad as far as hostels go.
-
Such friendly staff, fully stocked kitchen with salt/pepper/oil, terrace, events every night if you want to join but not a party hostel YALL NEED TO REPLACE ALL THE PILLOWS IMMEDIATELY OR PUT TWO PILLOWS PER BED
-
Different building, you have to walk to the main building for everything.

Location and price is pretty unbeatable. The photos are very accurate. There are no curtains on the beds, so no privacy and when someone on the top bed moves even just a little bit, you can really feel every little vibration on the bottom bed. Even when the window is open the whole time it is really smelly, a bit like in a mem's locker room from high school. But bearable for a short stay (10 bed room)

They charge £3.5 extra for a towel to take a shower, and the showers could be a bit cleaner.
-
in front of the british museum which i visit and it was really interresting i really recommend this hostel because the value and the service are compatible the wifi for the first night was not working on my phone

Bathroom cleanliness needs to be improved upon, especially around 10pm at night. A quick toilet seat wipe down would really help
