Hotel is in a very convenient location ideal for getting the bus or walking to attractions We didn't like the condition of the room it was clean but very outdated and in need of an update just felt old and for what we paid for 2 nights we felt like we deserved a tad more luxury

Friendly and helpful staff, wonderful location.

Friendly staff, great location for training I was on, but also a great location for a break. Nice, quiet, leafy street with a park nearby, but also quick access to facilities, food, cafes.
-
Location and size of bathroom Inconsistent housekeeping service. No working space heater in a cold room.

Location and large room, friendly staff , excellent price for 3 nights, no issues. High bath side, awkward to get in and out of the bath shower especially when your not a spring chicken .

Beautifully furnished hotel with tasteful art in the halls and in the room. Wonderfully comfortable bed and great view from my window. The bar in the lobby boasted a pretty good selection of bottled beers, but when I asked they only actually served one kind, which was Heineken or something similar.

Location Poor check-in handling. Room not clean. Wifi didn't work at all and even after i informed nothign changed during our full stay. Staff not very interested and accommodating.

Room was spacious, great location, friendly staff. I visited in June and at night temperature still dropped down to 15 degrees outside. I didnt find any thermostat to turn up the temperature in the room. I felt cold at night.

The location is convenient We stayed in this hotel, and unfortunately, we had a very bad experience dealing with BEDBUGS, which ruined the whole day, and we had to deal with all the disinfection of all of our belongings, which took more time and money. We realised there were bedbugs in the morning when we woke up, and since we stayed only one night, that was the day we were checking out. It took us way longer to prepare because we had to move all our stuff out of the bathroom and check all our belongings. When we checked out, we made sure to flag this with reception and show them the pictures and video we took. After we checked out, the day was horrible: we were supposed to spend a nice day in London and then go back home, but that didn't happen because our minds were on the fact that we had slept in a bed with bedbugs. When we arrived home, we had to strip out of our clothes outside the house to avoid bringing them into the house, and we paid £30 to disinfect and wash our belongings. And the worst part is that we contacted the hotel through Booking, and they refused to compensate us for any damage. We contacted them multiple times but didn't receive any response, which is disappointing and even more frustrating, as we paid more than £100 for just a night that they refuse to reimburse at all. And for a side note, the whole hotel is covered in old carpets.

Great location, most of the staff were kind and helpful. I pre-requested a tub which was wonderful with all amenities. Breakfast was yummy. Location quiet and safe for female solo traveller. I would have liked some more help with my luggage from the staff member who I first had contact with, he was not very friendly. Luckily the other staff made up for it. It was a basement room and there was water damage on the ceiling in 2 rooms but otherwise clean, tidy and welll appointed. It's a very old Georgian terrace in the centre of town. These buildings are a lot of work to restore and I think they are doing a wonderful job of maintaining them.

Overall experience was very satisfactory. The coffee and continental breakfast were great and the service wonderful -- very polite servers. Smiles at reception are always nice to the tired traveler. I was pleasantly surprised with the overall look of the property. I will return when next in London. Quibbles: pillows were musty, reception did not tell me that the room key turned on the lights or that there were grills on the windows. (I was in the basement and that first night I didn't open the windows b/c I was worried about outside entry and didn't notice the grills.)
