Perfect location. Wonderful old fashioned room. There is no AC obviously but the staff provided a fan so it was not so hot

Breakfast was good and provided in the building next door. Location was in a quiet neighborhood that was close to a tube station. Literally 3 minutes from the British Museum.
-
Location, staff, breakfast, room size. The couch in the room was very uncomfortable. Many furniture pieces in the lobby needed a good cleaning or repair.
-
Traditional terrace building and quiet street in a great location. Good size room and facilities. A very minor suggestion- the kitchenette could do with more attention to supplies; also dish detergent and tea towel would be useful.
-
Location, large room with microwave and fridge, clean room, staff were friendly and helpful. Lobby was tired upholstery on the furniture was ripped in places. You would think the Grange company could afford new furniture. Although this is a good hotel and we are planning to stay there again

Great location, reasonable price, friendly staff Bathtub was strange, really high so climbing out when everything was wet was a bit tricky. The bottom of the bathtub was also mostly curved so it was uncomfortable to stand in, and the shower head design was terrible- no water came out of the center.
-
everything is decent. no problems at all. excellent front desk. safety very well taken care of, you ring and door opens/ good breakfast, amazing cleaning staff. great location no problems
-
Excellent location near major attractions, surprisingly large and spacious room, exceptionally helpful staff. It was a marvellous experience altogether.
-
Everything is very dated, the bed was uncomfortable, the floor squeaked a lot, the shower had poor pressure and the water didn’t heat up enough for the January cold.
-
The tub wall is too high-difficult to get into. need a step. also no high grab bar in shower - slippery
-
Large rooms with microwave and fridge. The carpet is a bit natty.

Location is well connected to main places. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Hotel is very old and not maintained well. Elevators were not working. Showers are not convenient.
-
room was huge
-
Horrible communication. The room was not the room that we had paid for with the original booking. Incredibly small and dirty.
-
Early checkin only available at extra cost

Amazing location, at the heart of Bloomsbury, steps from the British museum, cafes, restaurants, subway station. Quiet room - facing into a small garden. Completely quiet at the heart of London Kettle, tea and coffee in room, small fridge and microwave oven Friendly and helpful staff The bathtub was a little too high and might be inaccessible for people with limited mobility

I did not realize the hotel does not have AC (my fault for not checking). However, only one window opened in our room and we were told to not leave it open overnight or pigeons would enter. We had to sleep in a room with no AC with closed windows. Our room was much warmer than the temperature outside. The staff did provide fans though, but it was a very uncomfortable visit. The general daily cleaning was fine but the hotel looks very worn. The carpet was stained, tiles were broken, and chunks of dust were attached to the walls.

My room was hot, and the fan didn't reach the window. I asked for help, and they could not get an extension cord or different fan.

Staying at the Grange is like staying at your favourite Aunts city house. Welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, great location with 19th century charm.
