Belvedere Hotel

The location is excellent, within a 5-minute walk of both Paddington Underground Station and Paddington railway station. The hotel service was outstanding! The 24-hour reception was always staffed, and the staff were friendly, patient, and helpful. Our requests were always responded to promptly and efficiently. The hotel breakfast is highly recommended. It was delicious and very convenient. Overall, we had a very pleasant and satisfying stay!

Lovely position so close to Paddington station . Room was very clean My room was on the 4 th floor. That’s a lot of stairs to carry a suitcase. Also the toilet flush didn’t work and despite my reporting it , it wasn’t fixed during g my 2 night stay

Location was perfect for my train to and from London. My room looked as though it had been recently refurbished - ensuite was immaculate and bedroom decoration fresh and clean. I was on the top floor and work seemed to be being carried out on some rooms below (no noise heard though) and new furniture was being delivered one morning as I was going out. I didn't have the breakfast but heard some people saying how good it was. Staff were excellent - friendly and polite. Luggage can be stored before and after stay. Great value for money Nothing - everything great

Very good

It definitely could do with updating but it was very clean . The hotel is in a great location with easy access to Paddington station and felt safe walking there also at night. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful with any requests at any time. It is great that the reception is 24/7 and luggage can be left before and after checking in easily. The room size was as expected for a single room but enough space to keep a suitcase, desk to sit at and adequate private bathroom. - The window could not be kept open as it would just slam shut so had to wedge it open, which was an issue in temperatures of constantly over 30 degrees. There is no air conditioning and the fan is very old and not working well. - The mattress needs replacing, it is very old and offers no support - The TV could not be turned on. - One of the only three plugs in the room was broken. - the water pressure is very poor and made it almost impossible to wash my hair

Great location (we stayed for a concert at Hyde Park). Staff were helpful, quick check-in process. Room was okay, bathroom was a little small but we had to make do with what we got. Fan was provided (inside the wardrobe) which was a saving grace as unfortunately this hotel has no aircon. Really got price for the location. No aircon.

Location was good No aircon nor a lift during the summer was not great

Location Flight of steep stairs. health hazard with respiratory or with heart ailments. And overall safety when carrying luggages. No lift. And we stayed at the 3rd floor but 5 stairways

Superb

The location was perfect for an event at Hyde Park For a ‘double room booking’ ….. This was not a double room, the double bed was a small double pushed up against the window sill, the pillows were lumpier than the Rocky Mountains. The room was so small it would be a single room at best! The paint work was all chipped and damaged and marks up the walls. The steps to the top floor were so narrow with such a low ceiling.

Disappointing

The hotel is less than 5 minutes away from Paddington station, the staff was accomodating and offered to keep an eye on luggages after check out. There is complentary coffee and tea included in the room. Room was very warm due to no AC, a fan was provided but it was not very effective, on top of being loud. Bathroom was very small, I hit my pinky toe to the door frame when getting up and ended up bleeding.

Great location. Adequate for one night stay and about and on par with other independent London hotels in Hyde Park area that I have stayed in previously. Clean, tidy and functional. Option to buy breakfast at £7.50 which was good value.

The location Our room was tiny with a third bed squeezed in to it. The light flickered, the tap in the bathroom was very loose. The shower was awful, you could hardly get any water from this. The cable at the back of the TV hardly stretched to the socket.
