Very close to restaurants and easy access to Paddington station and the underground, the room was clean and comfortable. A few things in the room were loose or damaged, like the bathroom tiles, and towel hanger. But other than that it was a lovely stay.

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the metro and in a lovely area. The staff were also extremely friendly, helpful and attentive throughout our stay. cleanliness and hygiene were the main issues for me. I booked two separate rooms and stayed on different floors, so unfortunately I can say that these concerns were not limited to just one room. The shower trays were extremely slippery and did not feel safe to use without a non-slip mat. My sister actually fell in the shower because she did not use one. At the same time, I personally do not find shared non-slip mats particularly hygienic. The edges of the shower enclosure were also yellow and stained. The rooms were missing several basic amenities that I would normally expect from a four-star hotel. There were no slippers, no additional hand or face towels, and there was nowhere inside the shower to place toiletries, meaning I had to leave my shampoo and other products on the floor. The hairdryer was also located outside the bathroom, with no convenient place to dry my hair. Cleanliness was particularly disappointing. In one of the rooms, I found a hair inside the bed on the first night, even though the room had supposedly just been cleaned and prepared for new guests. There were also bird droppings on the windows. The hotel layout can also be inconvenient if you have large luggage, as you have to pass through several doors and navigate small steps on the way to the rooms. Another important point is the metro noise and vibration. Since we stayed on both a lower and an upper floor, I can confidently say that this was noticeable in both rooms. The trains are very loud, and you can actually feel the room shaking when they pass.

The only things I liked about the hotel were its location and the staff. It is very close to the metro, situated in a lovely area, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. My main concern was cleanliness. The shower trays were extremely slippery, and it was almost impossible to shower safely without using a non-slip mat. However, I do not consider shared non-slip mats to be particularly hygienic. The edges of the shower enclosure were also yellow and stained. My sister actually fell in the shower because she did not use the non-slip mat, which shows how serious the safety issue is. Although two people were staying in the room, we were only provided with two bath towels, two hair towels and one bath mat. There were no additional hand or face towels. Despite being a four-star hotel, there were also no slippers provided in the room. The hairdryer was located outside the bathroom, and there was no suitable power outlet in the bathroom where I could comfortably dry my hair. There was also nowhere inside the shower to place toiletries, so I had to leave my shampoo and other products on the floor. More concerningly, on our first night I found a hair inside the bed, even though the room had supposedly just been cleaned and prepared for new guests. There was also bird droppings on the windows, which made us uncomfortable opening them. The layout of the hotel is also inconvenient if you are travelling with large luggage. To reach the rooms, you have to go through several doors and, at one point, go down a step and then immediately back up another one, which makes moving a large suitcase unnecessarily difficult. Finally, we stayed on both a lower floor and an upper floor, so we experienced different rooms. The underground trains are extremely loud, and when they pass, you can actually feel the room shaking. Having experienced both floors, I can say that the noise and vibration were noticeable in both.

The hotel was a short walk from paddington station and was surrounded by nice cafes and restaurants. The staff were wonderful and very helpful whenever we needed anything, we can’t praise them enough. The shower wasn’t the best sadly but still did the job. You could also hear trains going by which is to be expected given the station that is close by, however we weren’t made aware of how loud they would be until we arrived at the property.

The location was excellent and room was nice for the price. The daily housekeeping was good. The day we checked in the lift was broken luckily only had to go down 1 flight however the manager was already addressing the issue and had it fixed by the time we left later that evening which was excellent. The staff was not the most welcoming or friendly. One night our housekeeper did forget to leave any towels. After returning from a extremely long day walking g the city when going to shower I noticed and had to go to front desk as there is no phone in the room to call. Upon going up not even an apology ..one went to get me towels while tge other guy laughed like it was funny. I wasnt amused and actually went from being inconvenienced to upset because of his attitude. Still no apology even.

Location was excellent. Hotel was clean and serviceable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Air conditioning was a welcome asset. Very small room. Only really suitable for one person. Double bed very close to the window making it difficult to get in and out of that side of the bed. The room needed a chair for sitting on but there was no obvious space for one.
