Proximity to Paddington No lift and we were on the top floor

Great location and pleasant reception staff Noise of trains passing every few minutes so loud it felt it was in the room. Toilet room tiny. Breakfast selection poor

The only downside was the rumble of the Tube directly beneath the property. I realise this is unresolvable but it didn't affect the quality of my stay.

Staff at breakfast hall were very efficient and did a great job. Breakfast selection was excellent. Room was always packed for breakfast. Location close to Paddington station, but on a lovely, quiet, tree lined street. Very dated hotel, weird floor plans, I suppose due to age. Pictures shown are a very modified version of what's there. Reminded me of Fawlty Towers! Lost of staircases, obvious carpentry and hallway fixes that should be done. Single rooms booked were VERY small as were the twin beds; nothing luxurious that's for sure. Still served the purpose and the rooms were very clean.

Found the Reception Staff no very friendly- argued with ref my bookings - said i only booked two rooms. They said they had no record of third room - Then they found booking. curtains didn't fit the window and light came into room. some lights not working in the room and some of the sockets not working. Room was clean but looed like it had seen better days. Elizabeth line runs under hotel so you can hear rumble of the trains. Breakfast staff didnt want to serve you as i wanted a breakfast, i could only get Scrambled egg and some toast and a coffee which cost £7.00.

The room was ok size for us. Beds comfortable good shower . Kettle with tea coffee and milk + fridge nice bonus as there was a heat wave . Location was great got of the train at Paddington walked straight across the road about 5 buildings on the left side turned the corner and a short walk down the pavement to the hotel happy days all the underground trains were 5 minutes away if you like things easy it worked for us.

Good location, good instructions on how to open the doors, get the key. My main issue was that there was a very strong sewage smell coming from drains in the bathroom. Also, they could provide a kettle for making coffee and tea in the room. Deco is a bit too dark, making the room not feel very cosy. Too much black and red.

Ceiling fan as the temps were so high and you couldn't leave the window open all night. The rumbling of the tube trains was quite amazing to hear. You realise life is going on right under the streets. Ideally situated from Paddington train station and the tube lines. Literally 5 minutes walk. Other people in adjacent rooms, knocking on each other's doors n loud talking. That did stop about 00.30

The room was good and the cleaning staff was amazing. The guy at the reception at 3 pm on 26th of May 2026 was really nice and funny. The breakfast could use more variation like multiple types of cheese and so on.
