The rooms were very clean, the location was very convenient in a not too busy street but close of a main station. We loved the neighborhood with the historical buildings, even Churchill lived close by! Of course being an old building it didn't have elevator... that was not a big deal for us but might be for other travelers. It doesn't have A/C either. We were lucky that the heat wave had passed the week before.

Clean, great staff and breakfast. I stayed in a single room and the layout was perfect for 1 person. Not the properties fault, but it was terribly hot when I was there. With no AC it makes it a little hard to sleep comfortably.

N/A The smell that oozes from the bathroom was horrible, almost like a garbage disposal.Very nauseating and made the entire short stay unbearable.

The Harry Potter theme was so spot on for the rooms and decor. I loved the little pouch of coins we received and all the magical details. The potions and tea are a don’t miss. I absolutely adored the experience. And we were in London doing Harry Potter Studios and tours of the filming spots so winding down at the end of the day in a whimsical room with a TV that plays all the movies? The perfect touch. We spent the night watchingThe Philosopher’s Stone (First time not seeing it as Sorcerer’s) and woke up in the morning and stayed in a bit to have the themed breakfast and watch Deathly Hallows Part II. Perfect experience. I would have preferred the bathrooms be a bit larger. The one we had was pretty cramped, but not something that ruined our stay. The location was a little hard to pull up to as well. All small things though.

Staff was very good, helpful, and polite. Good area, felt safe. The hotel was well kept and clean. The room was very small. We had a comfy double room #44. At least it was on the bottom floor. Difficult to get into the bed on the left side. No room and the fireplace mantel sticks out into the narrow space between wall and bed. Very nice looking room, but very traveler unfriendly. No shelves in the bathroom to put anything. No outlet in the bathroom to use a hairdryer. You have ot use the small desk place to use an outlet and there isn’t a mirror. No lift, but staff was helpful with the luggage. Wanted breakfast, but 30 pounds (if you pre-order, more if you don’t) for two people was well over our budget. We just skipped breakfast until lunch. Could not get a receipt for our stay when we left. Still NO RECEIPT. I was told it would be emailed to me. NOT! It would have been nice to have been provided a detailed map of the immediate area of what facilities, stores, restaurants, bus stops and businesses were available.

Close to bus station since we were taking a trip to Wales. Beautifully decorated. Windows were not insulated. Could hear traffic on street all night. People staying above us paced in the room for at least two hours. It was absurd how loud it was . No insulation between rooms. People should be reminded to be quiet between certain hours. We had to leave early in the morning. Floor of shower was very slippery. I recently had back surgery and was afraid of falling. You need to provide non slip mats. Make sure customers know how many flights of stairs there are when booking.

Location close to Victoria Station. Room was clean. Staff were very amenable to answering questions. Breakfast was lovely. (had buffet/continental or cooked depending on reservation) No on site dinner options, nor places nearby (10-15 min walk). They did have an app to order in food from a number of restaurants and that worked very well. I staying in a “tiny room”. It was indeed tiny. Can’t complain that I did not have space to do a cartwheel. But the sink was the size of a shoe box and when you sit on the toilet your knee is under the sink. The shower was also small. But room was clean and bed comfortable and suited my needs.

Beautiful neighborhood, delicious breakfast, accomodating staff There was nothing we didn’t like about this property. We had some loud people screaming below our unit, but the staff came quickly to resolve the issue once we notified them.

Loved the property. Very homey. Staff was kind. Area was so lovely. Rugs should be replaced. Would have been nice to have robes and slippers. Breakfast was light and could have had more healthy options. Too much bread and pastries.

There were not enough electrical outlets , and the few in the room were not convenient places for hair dryer, shaving, or charging electronic devices such as phones, watches. The mirrors were not in the best places for shaving or drying hair.

Super personable staff, great accommodations, quiet, fabulous breakfast ❤️❤️❤️

Beds were comfortable and good location. Easy to walk to Sloane Square, the Kings Rd..and surrounding areas. no lift and if your room is located 2nd floor and up lots of stairs to climb.

The location is perfect for easy access to transportation allowing exploration of London, day trips outside the city, and transfers to Heathrow airport. Continental breakfast (7-10am) was excellent with 3 kinds of pastries, bread, yogurt, cured meats, overnight oats, and seasonal fruit. Coffee (cappuccino, americano…) and fresh juice also included. There are umbrellas in the lobby for hotel guests to use. Our room on the first floor was a great size, larger than expected. However, the bathroom was quite small. The bed was way too soft, however the pillows were great. Only one keycard provided. No Kleenex in the room. If you’re sensitive to street noise at night, ask for a room that does not have windows facing the street.

Lovely breakfast. Comfortable and clean. I understand it was my own fault that I didn't pay attention to the fact the hotel didn't have a lift and as 75 year old and being on the top floor it was hard going but that was my own fault and if I stayed again I would request a lower floor.

Charming old hotel, friendly helpful staff and great central location for walking Lots of stairs which could be a problem for some guests

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely property, close to lots of sites and Victoria station. Staff surprised us with complementary fudge and a card for our anniversary!

Very nice rooms, good style of deco, friendly and helpful staff. Linen and towels were looking bice and fresh. Basic amenities, no elevator to get to the last floor and with luggages is heavy. No much to say everything was generally good
