Perfect location, great bar and comfortable room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the lobby very welcoming.
-
Excellent location (just around the corner from Holburn Underground station) - good staff and service - will happily return to Middle-Eight when I have the opportunity - in fact we stayed an extra night on this trip (9, not 8 lovely days) one tiny complaint....needed to ask the front desk for shortbread biscuits every day, they were not delivered when the room was cleaned and restocked!
-
Perfect location good reception services The cleaning services were sometimes delayed And they forgot to bring towels - just took what we had in the room without replacing it.
-
The fact that I left the room one night before our schedule and notified both booking and the Hotel 48 hours earlier and till now no one responded back on whay we are not getting refund for this last night!

Outstanding. An excellent photo. Staff are truly fantastic. Make you feel at home. All round superb

The staff go above and beyond at this hotel. The location is fabulous, easy walk to Covent Gardens, West End. Lot's of great pubs and cafes near by. Our first room had a street view; in fact the front office staff upgraded us. Unfortunately, you could hear the restaurant music from 7am to midnight. We told the staff and they moved us to a room at the rear of the hotel, no view but very quiet.

Great location and modern We had multiple issues with housekeeping

Staff was super nice and would agree to bring me cookies when I asked at 1am!!!! Also - I stayed there one week, and the following week I stayed in an Airbnb nearby. One day I was shopping in Covent Garden and a man began following me around and harassing me. I went to the hotel lobby and the staff standing by the entrance approached me asking if I needed help (I was probably visibly distressed). He was incredibly helpful, and assisted me, together with another staff at the reception, being on alert, offering me to go into the staff room, bringing me water and letting me sit in the lobby while I was figuring out what to do (and they didn't know that I had stayed at the hotel the previous week). Thankfully I managed to make that man lose my tracks before I got to the hotel. So thank you so much for your humanity both when I was staying there and also after my stay.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The location is excellent. The room cleaning overall was good but one day they were not thorough.

Too small bed and minimal restaurant menu choice

Second the stuff was incredible. Helpful and courteous. I didn't like the fact that the room wasn't clean everyday and that there are nit inough hangers in the room for coats and ambrella..

Nice property.

The location is fine. No elevator access to third floor. The room was awful. No central cooling or heating with windows that did not open more than 3 inches, no closet or shelf space so be prepared to live out of your luggage, no bathroom mirror over the sink, minimal to no amenities such as 1 towel provided and no coffee maker (but for the cheapest instant coffee plus 1 cup and a warming pot). Inconsistent housekeeping. Overall, it's not suitable for business travel and should be considered a 1-star hotel. If you stay here and you are given a room on the third floor, refuse!

Beds should b wider two guys difficult to adjust
-
Fantastic location , concierge was superb. Gym was very good, cool vibe Mattresses were average at best.
-
Everything. Safe location, property was clean and elegant, staff was kind and accommodating. The Hotel restaurant - The Sycamore - served delicious food. Nothing at all. I wish they have locations in other cities, like Paris.

We enjoyed our stay, great location and stuff, the was clean The room was small

It’s an attractive property, very stylish. Greeted warmly on arrival. We paid for a superior room. We were given the standard basic room. We requested a superior room as we paid for and there was a lot of back-and-forth until we got it. The room that we were given was on the front busy street and we were kept awake until 4:30 in the morning by antisocial youths, sirens etc. This of course is not the fault of the property, but the front facing rooms should have better soundproofing. We can ask to be moved for the next two nights of our stay and we were accommodated with that, which I appreciate.
