We have stayed here a number of times. It ticks a number of boxes. Nice comfortable rooms, good breakfast, nice bar, efficient and pleasant staff. Would like a few more English Breakfast tea bags in the room

The location was great, bed was comfy The room really needed updating, when i walked in the floor was wet which at the time didn’t understand why but when i took a shower the next morning soon realised as the drain in the shower wasnt draining, i messaged before asking if the second bed could be made, on arrival it wasnt, called down for it to be done. The glasses had chips in them, marks on the carpets and dents in wardrobes. The air conditioning was on and giving out some cold but the hotel/room was so hot it didnt really make a difference.

Great location close to major attractions within walking distance. The modern bar and restaurant were well-kept, and the hotel had good health spa facilities. Check-in was poorly managed; after taking our luggage and promising to call when our room was ready, we arrived past 4 PM to find our rooms had been given away. We were assigned an accessible room despite not requesting one, making the wet-room style shower difficult to use. Cleanliness was sub-par across three rooms: walls were scuffed, mini-fridge cupboards were covered in grime, and my brother’s bathroom had hair in the bathtub and grime on the shower head. Privacy was an issue as the "upgraded" suite faced the train station with full visibility inside, and the other room overlooked the restaurant. Front desk staff appeared bothered and indifferent when shown photos of the issues. Overall, a very disappointing, overpriced stay that did not reflect 4-star standards.
