This hostel is in the heart of London, a 10-minute walk from King’s Cross Railway Station and the British Library. It provides budget accommodations with free WiFi access throughout. The Smart Hostel Russell Square offers accommodations for guests from 16 till 45 years old in central London. We provide beds in mixed-sex dorms. Linen is provided and security lockers are available in all rooms. Shared and private bathrooms are available depending on room type. Reception is open 24 hours a day, and there are no curfews or lock-out times. Guests can receive tourist information and discount tickets for major attractions. It was pretty clean and the location is awesome. Didn’t really use the kitchen but it looked pretty well equipped. Too bad you need to pay for a locker to leave your luggage when you check out. I wasn’t really comfortable with the shared bathrooms, as the staff doesn’t even mention where is what, you just get the key and go find your way. Only after the check out I found that there were the girls showers in the basement.

Loved my stay here. My dorm room was super quiet at night which I really appreciated. The bed and bathroom were also clean. Staff were lovely. Amazing value for money!

The kitchen facilities. The triple decker bed. Getting up and down the 3rd deck is a bit tiring and irritating.

Great location to public transport. Nice common area and love the bed curtains for privacy. No all staff members are friendly (although most are very sweet!), and all the beds in our room were squeaking. Room bathroom is tiny, but common bathroom have the best showers!

Good value for money. Its a big hostel with lots of people, but it has good facilities and it is clean. I saw people cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen every morning. Furthermore, It has everything you need in a very central location. For people with a fear of heights the three levels of bunk beds might be a challenge if you get the upper beds on the third level. This is for me, the only reason not to stay here again as everything else is good.

Hooks in shower, outlets at each bed & good location. Stayed in 9bed female dorm. It was incredibly small for that many people, no where to put your bag, lockers are too small for bigger bags/suitcases and someone had taken mine, I confronted the person, they said someone took theirs. If you're on the third bunk it is impossible to sit up, I could barely bend over enough to fit in (I'm 5'8) you are expected to put your own sheets on, on this bunk it was genuinely impossible so just slept on the duvet they provide. The bathroom was tiny, shower was ok some hooks to hang your things. Didn't get to use the kitchen as unable to use in the morning but the staff did allow me to fill my drink bottle. I wouldn't recommend staying here for even one night, it is incredibly uncomfortable. No aircon, room was so stuffy but can't keep window because of the noise. Definitely don't use as your base if you plan to explore London there are better hostels for similar prices.

Nice hostel for the price, nice location, close to British museum. Easy Check In. The rooms get too hot at night, there's fans to turn up but some of the People of my room were always turning it down. The first room I had a private bathroom, too little almost no space to fit In.
