Tavistock Hotel

It’s a bit old, dated. Room and bathroom are very tight.

The rooms had no air conditioning. We were provided a fan. When I made the reservation I never thought to check that a hotel in the center of London would have air conditioning. Booking.com should include such information in the future.

The location is excellent. Some of the staff were really friendly. The rooms were really small, facilities were not impressive. On a normal summer day the rooms were really warm, did not have really a good night sleep. No gym, not really a nice area to work and have a coffee.

Location and the bar/restaurant downstairs. People working there are actually nice Rooms are melting hot —no terrible heatwave happening—especially in upper floors (perhaps they don’t like Booking’s reservations?) And it is forbidden to take a fruit from the expensive breakfast!

Convenient location, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and generally a lovely stay for 6 nights. We visited during a heatwave, so the extra 2 fans they supplied were definitely a plus.

Nice location with lots of leafy squares No aircon made it unbearable in the heatwave.

Centrally located to many great sites in the city center. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hydration drink was a good touch. No A/C made it prohibitively uninhabitable. Difficult to sleep without air movement in the room despite three circulating fans. It was a literal oven.

Very hot , NO air conditioning ( was not mentioned as absent) also No refrigerator, so all chocolates melted ,super small toilet and shower bathroom

tiny rooms and no A/C - it was absolutely unbearable in the rooms - it honestly had to have been 90+ degrees and it was not that hot outside - we came after the heat alert

Heatwave and only one small fan to cool the room. It was a nice stay but uncomfortable in the heat.

Good location with option for garden view, good restaurant. Visibly clean. Close to two subway stations and to King's Cross Rail station. The room was smaller than expected , no air conditioner. The TV was not working as well. Small bathroom but ok for the London probably

Excellent location. Clean. Comfy big bed, pillows and duvet. Lots of storage. Staff were great and breakfast was fantastic. Perfect for a few nights stay in London. A little bit dated - no air con but fans were provided. Shower cubicle dated with shower curtain. Decor in hallways.

Great value hotel in lovely area of London. Staff is friendly and helpful. There are great restaurants nearby. Rooms are small and some rooms are noisy.

There is no air conditioning, so during a heat wave it can become very hot inside. They do provide fans, but they are not enough to keep the place comfortable.

Excellent location

I liked the bar staff. The cleaning staff who did a very good job. The room was tiny and stuffy and hot (due to heat wave). Our kettle malfunctioned and we asked for another one, but a new one wasn't issued to us.

Location beats everything, it is 5 mins to British museum The heating was on all the time we were there and it was terribly hot.
