The room was very clean; the staff was very helpful, kind, and friendly; the location of the hotel was perfect.

Excellent location for a week spent working at the British Library. Everything within walking distance, and the place felt clean and safe. There's even a lounge with coffee/tea where I could work. Not the most luxurious stay (shared bathrooms, noisy streets) but a great option for price/location.

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and we loved that they have kept the character of the original old building. The fun little private bathroom was so unique, but still very functional and clean.

Room was nice and clean, staff were very helpful and friendly

It is great value for central London. It's also not ensuite. Like a time warp. It's because the building is old. Still, I'll stay here again. Quirky, clean and cheap.

Great location, charming wonkiness of the space.

Location was perfect close to train stations. Room was well-kept and maintenance is clearly a priority for this hotel. A great choice of places to eat within a few hundred yards. Single glazing on the windows meant that there was some late-evening noise. But the street was quiet during the night so we slept well.

I had a quiet room Professional, friendly and helpful staff Great location I was in a different building and WiFi was too weak to work

For the price I paid (£67pp per night) I thought this was excellent value for money. Facilities clean and location was very convenient. Staff very friendly. I have no qualms about this hotel at all

To put in a fan for cooling, because it is hot in the room

Stayed for one night with my sister, staff members were so lovely and helpful, really friendly to talk to. The hotel is located a couple minutes walk from Euston station and the surrounding area is really pretty. We both loved the hotel itself, the pins in the map at reception, communal area where you can help yourself to tea, coffee and books, everything really. We would 100% return. Stairs to the third floor may be a challenge for some people, it didn’t affect us personally but it’s something to think about when booking so you can request a lower floor.

Great location Friendly staff Clean room and bathroom Lots of tips given on activities and restaurants Lounge was really nice with free water/tea/coffee Mattress was very hard Small damages here and there that could be fixed (e.g. crack in window)

+ Perfect / central location and friendly staff. - I hadn't understood (having booked a twin) that bathroom and toilets were communal. My mistake probably. -Rooms looked much bigger on the pics, were clean though. And since we had to open the windows (heatwave), it was a bit loud at night (it doesn't happen often that you have to sleep windows opened!). Due to perfect location, it was ok but i would only book for 1 or 2 mights
