Location Staff could have been friendlier, breakfast was lukewarm and the plates cold. Head waitress was belligerent, disinterested and defensive. Not enough staff serving in the bar in the evening.

The hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The price was reasonable, especially considering the excellent location. The rooms were also clean and comfortable, making it a pleasant and convenient place to stay.

I stayed in the Thistle before and like back then the whole experience was great. Staff were chatty and very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was very tasty and the room was spotless. There was nothing about the hotel I didn't like.

Location Bar Check in First room offered unsatisfactory as view from window looked out onto huge pipework , no view whatsoever After a confrontation with check in staff were moved to another room on a higher floor which was ok but bathroom very dated
