Stratford Hotel

Rooms were what we expected. There was all we needed. Room was a bit small but it didn’t matter to us because we expected that.

The room was truly really good for its price and it was surprisingly more comfortable than what we were anticipating. The staff was really sweet and tried to help us with everything.

Pleasant

The staff was great. The room was clean and efficient. The location was close enough to the train station. Easy to find They provided a variety of self serve coffee packets, buns and biscuits. They held our numerous pieces of luggage safe until our travel time after checkout. We left our best reading glasses behind and they saved them for two weeks until we passed back through. Hey for the price it was great. No frills but we were only there for one night so it was perfect. Nothing worth mentioning.

Room and bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable. No drinks facilities in the room but we only stayed one night. There was a lot of noise in the corridor from workers at 6am on a Sunday morning. We're early risers but would have loved to have slept in. Doors are thin so you hear everything but they weren't being quiet.

When u walk in reception walls all damp and crumbling it was like a make shift reception like someone's house very dated the facilities were very poor very cheap tea and coffee loon nothing like the pictures

Good staff,location

The property was lovely, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. As it was extremely hot when we arrived, they kindly offered us cold bottles of water and provided a fan for our room, which was greatly appreciated. They also treated us to complimentary coffee, biscuits, and croissants, which made a perfect snack on arrival and a lovely breakfast the following morning. Their thoughtful hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Nothing really, There was some renovation going on when we arrived, with rubbish outside, it didn’t bother us as they are upgrading the property and we wish them well as they are a lovely couple.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. They also set the fan up before I arrived (it was a hot day), which was nice of them.

Walkable distance to both Stratford and Maryland underground stations. Kind staff, provided bottled water during check-in and check-out. Good selection of coffee. Soft pillow and lack of kettle in room. However these are personal preferences and staff were kind to provide a good selection of kettle, tea and coffee in the reception.

Large fridge in the room, parking space in front of hotel, close to Stratford station Room was really very compact, bathroom somewhat older, no airco
