Apollo Hotel Kings Cross

Location was brilliant and staff were lovely. We arrived in the room, everything seemed perfect until we got to the beds, there were 3 bed bugs (googled to identify) and they were 100% bed bugs on the bed, and one on the wall! We had to be moved rooms. This ruined my stay, I had a rubbish sleep as this really unsettled me. The staff were lovely though.

I was given a ground floor room which was roomy with a double bed and had tea & coffee facilities , my daughters had a room on the first floor with a small ensuite. The hotel is really close to St Pancras and Kings Cross Stations and bus stops and a few minutes walk to a really good laundrette and the Boot Hotel . There are many shops and cafes within the station precincts and is ideal for catching cross country trains and the Eurostar. The staff were really nice and gave us great assistance. It is in a good street which is quiet. First floor room was nice but the bathroom was up a dozen steps and it had a very tricky and potentially unsafe access across the stairs but once in , the bathroom was good with a Toilet, shower over the bath and soley for the ground floor room - just needed extra care to get in and out of it, the other room was very small and would not fit the luggage and the ensuite very small . The rooms have no fridge. The hotel is very secure. Both rooms were equipped with a good fan which was most needed . Despite these couple of issues it is ideally located and reasonably priced. I would say it's not suitable for those with limited or mobility issues but I'd book the ground floor room again.

The location was absolutely perfect, less than a 5 min walk from Kings Cross, the staff were also great when we arrived, so we could get checked in quickly Just the cost, the room was very expensive, for what we got, I totally understand that there is a London weighting and events on, but I have holidays in Spain cheaper

There is no AC but this is not the hotel staff's fault and also there as a heat wave all over Europe. The Hotel staff were great and brought a fan to the room.
