Personnel kind and helpful. I had a situation that was taken care of with kindness.. Bedroom had a sitting area. Comfy beds. Lovely lounge. Stairs need railings. Tub needs treads!!!

Breakfast was great and staff very attentive. The location was very handy to all the tube to major London sights. The shower was a little difficult to work out...We stayed twice within a 2 week period -the first time the room was bigger and better, and the second time it was smaller -but we paid more which was disappointing.

The bed. The shower. The air conditioning. Nothing really. The hotel was a bit tired but I understand it has been purchased and will be renovated.

This place is conveniently located near the metro station and is known for its safety. The shower door handle is missing, and the lamp has some broken pieces.

The location is great. I love the homely downstairs lounge and bar. I have been staying at the Ashburn fairly regularly over the past 20 years. It is now beginning to look a bit tired, in need of a revamp. Also, some of the special features like the glass of champagne offered to guests in the evening, the room-service pizzas (excellent!) and the special toiletries have all disappeared. It is still a good hotel, but not so special anymore.
