Location great,quiet road, short walk to sightseeing The Executive room 010 was in the basement looked out at a brick wall. Very warm no air coming through windows even though temp dropped to 12 degrees at night. Was provided with 1 desk fan, asked for another 1 but non available. Room included breakfast but not told only continental has to pay extra for full English

Great location , lovely period building in one of London's beautiful tree-lined streets, and quiet area. Lovely and quiet near Russell Square gardens. The decor and facilities are quite dated and tired, although acceptable. Could do with new carpet and furniture. The curtains were very old and thin.

Lovely quiet location but within a 10 minute walk to the tube. Large, comfortable room. Good variety in the continental breakfast and plenty of it. Friendly staff. The room was very warm at night, though luckily we could have windows wide open as the area was quiet. There was a free standing fan which also helped.

I really like this hotel which is actually 4 or 5 hotels with different names managed centrally. The standard in all of them is extremely high and there is something special about the staff. On this occasion the room was not air conditioned. A fan was provided on request.

Staff were great and the location was good. The room didn’t look like the pictures, it could’ve been cleaner and there was no A/C so the room was very very hot.

Great location (walking distance from museums, parks, restaurants, etc.; close to multiple metro stations; etc.), friendly/responsive staff, good price compared to competitors. Porperty is neglected/damaged (hole in the walls, missing paint, scuffs on the walls, damaged window mechanism (some windows don't open). It is in great need of renovation.

The staff were amazing, the view out of the window overlooking the small park was fantastic, the location was amazing, will definitely consider booking again if in the area The room was a bit warm, but the windows opened and that definitely helped

Very good position. Very large rooms overlooking the street which was quiet. Really comfy bed. No air con but the room had been cooled down with a fan. Very welcoming staff.

The location was excellent, close to many attractions and public transport. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the jacuzzi was a nice bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The biggest downside was that the room had no air conditioning, only a basic fan. During the hot weather it was very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. There was also no mini fridge to keep water or drinks cold, which was disappointing, especially in summer.
