Just the perfect hotel. Not a bad word to say! Nothing!

Bed comfy . Bathroom big and clean Unable to get through by phone on the Saturday morning. A very broken answerphone system Room 315. Could mention " no view" I was looking out on a white wall and cigarette buts see photo Constant humming from the room opposite. My friend reported it and it was not dealt with. Could do with a dimmer switch in bathroom. Very bright light to turn on in the middle of the night. Instructions on how to use the SPA. Ie. Dressing gown supplied in room which can be used for spa etc would be useful. Terrace could do with some lounger type chairs. Fish and chips on the Sunday night very unpleasant. A lot of undercooked batter - fish tasted of nothing. Half a lemon thrown on plate. Tiny amount of peas (not mushy) in a tiny saucer. Very disappointing. Should mention there are a lot of steps to move round hotel and signage not great. Could be larger and clearer.. Spa fine if a little cramped ! Side of swimming pool very slippery Staff were pleasant. I had a good 30 min massage with Ellen.

Location Back room rather small

The proximity to Richmond Park, and the gin & tonics provided in each room. Service at the restaurant was hit and miss.

The hotel is in a great location in Richmond and well maintained externally. Service in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was attentive and friendly. The parquet floor in the restaurant was incredibly dirty and desperately in need of sanding down and revarnished. It's a shame as it spoils the otherwise good decor.

Good hotel with lovely factities Our room was so noisy, we had staff from 6am wearing heels walking down the wooden floor outside our room. We were woken up really early and then we couldn't get back to sleep as they were walking down the corridor constantly (room 111 near the spa). That was a big shame as we didn't feel rested and we didn't have a good sleep because of this.

Location and quality of food I was put in a tiny single bedroom, with a single bed, a window that didn’t close and you couldn’t see out of, loose taps hanging off and air con that was loud and cold blowing straight on to the bed. To top it off the room was loud with people walking up and down the stairs all night and a cleaner that decided to vacuum the stairs right outside the room at 7am.

Excellent location and a comfortable room to come back to afterwards. Loved the hot tubs. Complimentary gin was a nice touch. Attention to detail in the bedroom could’ve been better.
