Great location, cheap, fairly easy to find Kettle was dodgy, wouldnt stay on without holding the button down, bathroom shower worked fine but tiles had been put on top of an old shower clearly so it was sort of just a hole, and I imagine wouldnt be too hard to slice a toe. Top of cabinet hadnt been dusted in ages, fan hadnt been wiped down, bathroom extract fan blew air into the room instead of out, shelf was upside down? Mattresses were comfortable but the pillows were very thin, and on stripping the beds discovered the duvet was stained in a few places. I stayed in an annex which wasnt the easiest to find, and the front door has a strange lock which made me cycle through the keys a few times because it wouldnt open. Window was broken too, taped over but there was another hole that was wide open. Bedside cabinets desperately need replacing, veneer badly replaced and completely peeling off.

location too warm to stay, with ants in the bed, very uncomfortable

4 beds in one room good for family Reception was located in other building which was very hard to find. My room was at 3rd floor and there was no elevator

Love love love the location. You honestly can’t go wrong with this place it’s cosy and quaint. Did the perfect job for what we needed. I would love it if they added some hooks to hang the towels!

The only positive point about this hotel is the location. There is no breakfast in the hotel, but it was not a problem - a lot of cafes and pubs around. The windows are doubled so not much noise in the night. However, when the neighbour of the upper floor comes to the room - you can hear every step. The bathroom is tiny, you cannot really turn inside. There was no bed light at one bed - I could not read. The ceiling light is not sufficient. The floor, the furniture is old, in poor condition.

Perfect location, great price, friendly staff Only issue we had was the shower liked to suddenly turn cold halfway through and the light would forget you are in there (just wave your arm out the shower curtain :) ) otherwise it was a good size bathroom

It was a fabulous location at a good price. The sheets were clean. A bit scruffy and not the most comfortable bed.

The location is good. Staff are friendly. Highly recommend. There was an unfortunate incident happened to us while in London, and I appreciate the consideration of all the staff. Thanks to all of you.

Nice hotel in a wonderful part of the city for a good price!

Location only The room was dirty, old, floor had holes in it, the furniture was old and unkept, looks like something you would pick up from the trash, very noisy, no noise insulation, the drawers were dirty with like food or something, the bathroom was old. The only good thing about this place is location. Don’t be fooled.

LOCATION! This place just happens to be next to the oldest fish and chips place in London, as well as a ton of cute shops and other restaurants. Check in and out was easy. Totally worth it for a budget London weekend trip where you’ll be spending little time in the room. I knew going into it that the bathroom was going to be super small, so that was kind of annoying but it definitely could have been worse. The stairs to the room were steep, but completely manageable. And the bed wasn’t the comfiest.

Great location. Large rooms. Good en-suite. Pillows were hard so rolled up a spare quilt! No toiletries apart from soap.
