Superb

Very friendly staff, and we were able to leave our cases before check in and after checking out. A very nice continental breakfast. A great location for exploring Spitalfields market and Brick Lane. Nothing.

Great location and the breakfast was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful also. Would certainly recommend for these points. Charming place and easy to access lots of things nearby. The stairs were a bit much after a long day (potentially problematic for those with limited mobility) and the beds a bit small and uncomfortable. Didn't detract from our stay though.

Cleanliness and facilities of the room. Very comfortable bed. Excellent fan to keep cool on the hot nights. Nothing. A word of warning if you are not fit, the stairs to the rooms maybe a struggle.

The staff was nice and the breakfast was good , with freshly squeezed orange juice, although we missed not having eggs. The pastries were very good. The rooms had character and the location was excellent. The rooms are very small, and the beds are short and narrow. There was no air conditioning and the room got very hot. There is a glass sliding door to the bathroom. With gaps on the sides with very little privacy, ok for couples but not for friends or siblings.

The staff were lovely.

This is a fabulous refurbished pub at the end of Brick Lane. There are 15 guest rooms over four floors, be prepared for lots of stairs if you are in rooms 12-15! The breakfast was brilliant - fresh pastries, meats, cheese, granola, fruit. The fresh juice was amazing and the coffee superb. The guest only roof terrace was the highlight of our stay - we spent the evening watching the surrounding City wind down while sampling the lovely curated wines from the bar down below. Rooms are small and the shower cupboard sized! But guess that’s London for you! Room was hot but there was a fan provided.

Fantastic hotel in a great location, really friendly and attentive staff - bountiful breakfast, topped off with a fantastic coffee. Our son came to meet us at breakfast and he was immediatly asked if he wanted to have a coffee. Loved the fact the hotel were so forthcoming in terms of who their suppliers were and their focus on sourcing locally and supporting small businesses. Would highly recommend a stay at the Buxton for some many reasons but mostly for the personal touches.

Very nicely decorated, comfortable and welcoming. Staff were lovely even at the late hour I arrived Due to its central location, it was a little noisy. But it’s what you’d expect.
