Public areas, staff, and a/c-great in exceptionally hot weather Room-dark and dingy-furniture in very bad shape.
-
Location fabulous Cleaner could have done a better job on daily room cleans, mold in bathroom and no dusting done on furniture
-
Location and the decor of the hotel The main bar was closed. This meant you could only have spirits and cocktails.

Friendliness, excellent food and great location. Nothing

The location cleanliness quality of food and friendly staff.

Location, price, staff and the rooms were nice. It was a little bit dated and worn in some areas.

The building was beautiful and located in a quiet area just off White Hall and Embankment. Lovely room with high ceilings, comfortable beds and great facilities like a fridge with complementary water etc. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I liked everything.

Great staff

Very good

The first room offered had opaque windows and a noisy machine outside the window but the second room offered was lovely. as above. We decided to stay a second night and the procedure took so long because of computer slaving.

Clean. The lobby appears very luxurious. The rooms are certainly spacious but very poorly designed. The rooms were basically an Ibis Hotel pretending to compete with the likes of The Corinthia across the road. Cracked bath tub and peeling paint of the ceiling (see pictures), really difficult to control the temperature of the room, insufficient plug sockets next to the bed for charging your mobile, the most uncomfortable pillows I have ever slept on and the toiletries in the bathroom were truly pathetic. No body lotion even! Come on, Royal Horseguards…. I expect better from you.

Everything was excellent It was so clean and inviting

We had an indoor room which had a frosted window with no view.. I probably should have requested outside view but we were anxious to explore and every other single aspect was amazing.. The tour of the basement was so interesting and the concierge was so helpful with trains and tube selection.. Although the room was small it was laid out very well and super quiet..

The breakfast was excellent and the location was very good as well. We ould have preferred a walk in shower instead of a tub. For an older hotel, it was very nice.

The history and how old it was l. The staff, great greeting on entrance. The room was not as advertised in the photo online. Tiny window that you had to be on top toes to see the river view… not like the full length window in the photos online. As you can see from the photos it was very misleading. They did deal with the complaint well.

This hotel was excellent and within walking distance of all the things we had planned. The front desk, breakfast staff and hotel staff were very good. The bellman out front was excellent and went out of his way to make sure he provided all the information needed. Great place. I wish we had stayed longer.

We were lucky enough to get a complimentary room upgrade and were allocated the Library suite. Wonderful, comfortable and luxurious. Thank you The only slight negative was that the only windows in our suite looked out onto a wall. Can’t have it all !
