The guy on reception was helpful and I got a good sleep There were some beasties on the table top and a big spider on the bed....I nearly died The windows were filthy. In the facilities description of the hotel it said there would be toiletries but there was only a half a bottle of handwash and a half a bar of used soap with hairs on it There were also hairs on the bathroom wall and no shower curtain. I was scared to go to sleep in case something crawled over me but my eyes couldn't stay open any longer and I had a good sleep. The bed was comfortable. The place could be doing with a deep clean and a coat of paint

Nothing Staff wasn't there when I arrived, had to call 5 times and wait 10 minutes for the door to open. The property is in a dire state. I got a violent allergic reaction to dust and mold in the room. I'm not allergic to anything though. I woke up with the worst migraine which completely ruined my day. I cancelled my remaining night but didn't get a refund. This place is not worth its cheap price. Do yourself a favor and book a proper room in a proper hotel.

There is a door, a bed, and a bathroom. It was cheap (I paid 80 pounds for a night - definitely don't pay more than that!!) and it's in a great location. Lack of facilities. No soap (I asked for some and was given some), no bathmat or handtowel. There were 2 towels, but I used one of them to jam the window open the few inches possible, which meant the bathroom floor flooded if I had a shower. The shower only drains very slowly, meaning it can overflow. There was a hole/missing board (?) in the bedroom floor, covered by carpet, making the floor uneven and hazardous. Bed fairly terrible - mattress lumpy, sloped, OK on the side near the wall. Very hard to close the door, and almost impossible to open the window even an inch. Small fan provided - very dirty.

Absolutely Nothing was the worst place I have ever stayed in all my life Put it like this, I have an ongoing complaint with booking.com for a full refund as it ruined my break away with family. When you see damp a toilet that is down stairs in the hall way used by others and the same for shower for starters. Tv no remote and no signal and the socket hanging off the wall showing live wires which you could have touched. No legs on bed, just the divan base on floor with no headboards. On ground floor on Main Street & the old sash windows have no way to lock them, so anyone could open window and take your valuables. Blood on wall be you bed sheet hardly fitted bed and came off when your in bed. Staff member was unhelpful and if you had an issue which we did, you have to leave the building walk down the road to there other property to reception there, it was an absolute joke. Avoid like the plague, I cannot believe Booking.com allow this hotel (or hostel) on the site & has the guts to allow us the pay for this????!!!! They show in there add tea & coffee facilities with a kettle & fan? But nothing in room and even if there was a kettle, you would have to go downstairs to the rotten toilet room when the was a plastic bin with soiled toilet paper on show, so no thank you. Please NOTE!! This is not a moan by a sad person……THIS IS PURE HONEST FACT!!!

Very clean and located centrally. No AC, had to request more toilet tissue

The location is quite central with tube stations relative near. Too small shower to be useful (55 x 60 cm) with shower curtain that clinged to you. The chair was broken. No hair dryer that it said it should have. No cleaning during the 11 days I stayed there (not even empty rubbish bins in the room). Small table fan instead of AC, which did little to nothing with the warm weather in London when I was there.

The location is excellent I had seen the reviews that it was old and not very well kept. It was way worse: it was hot, and the very heavy window was held open with a chair. When we tried to open it more, it almost fell out, which was really dangerous. The bathroom was tiny and not well-kept, but the worst part was that there was a used bar of soap (old, probably used for many months) and a small, disgusting-looking, half-empty shampoo bottle. The power blew out for an hour, and the heat was stifling with no A/C and only a tiny fan. The floor is rotten under the carpet. Are there no inspections in London hotels?

Clean bedding and good location The room was not clean. It was very hot and the fan provided did nearly nothing. The electric kept cutting out whilst we were watching the England game which was very frustrating.

Not one thing. It was so bad, I did not stay there. unclean bathroom with open bins, no towels, remote, tiny room, cheap/broken/damaged furnishings - appalling.
-
Staff were very understanding of our situation with regards to a change in event times and were extremely polite and well mannered! Very nice people indeed. No tea/coffee in room or towels but only a minor gripe - we didn't stay long enough to be bothered about that and I'm sure the guys would have helped had we asked.
-
Last minute availability Ants in the room, holes in the walls, squeaky bed, shards but not cleaned thoroughly showering facilities.

Good location It was very dirty. It did not have any free toiletries - not even hand soap. No hot water in shower in the morning. Bathroom window wouldn’t close. No batteries in remote for tv. Again the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in
